Nando = dominant.
31 points on 16 shot attempts... Almost a double-double with 6 rebounds and 9 assists, too... +/- of +52....
Give this man some playing time, Pop!
As an expiring contract I think there's a good chance Nando would be traded if the spurs make a trade before the deadline.
If Pop is just going to oppress him to the bench, I hope the Spurs do trade him so that Nando can get quality backup time on another squad, as he rightfully has shown he deserves, tbh.
All this shows is how the D-League is if a scrub like De Colo can put up LeBron type numbers up every night.
Nice to see Nando doing well even if the opponent is very weak. He is a quality player and it's a shame to see his year being wasted. He could brought a lot to a low level NBA team/high level European team.
Malcolm Thomas is now a combined 16/27 from behind the arc in 5 D-League games. This 3 point shooting is looking less and less flukish...
I'd like to see thomas with the ball in his hands more. You don't see him dribble. to see if a back up 3 he could be? right now from his games he looks to be a stretch 4.
It's a shame that we won't actually see Thomas play as a Spur till next season.

#Spurs announced Nando De Colo and Malcolm Thomas have been recalled back to the big club.

Once again, questionable decision making by pop. Scott Brooks has confidence in his rookie Stephen Adams why can't pop play a d league guy who meets a need and is familiar with our system already?
That's exactly what frustrates the outta me. Adams is already contributing greatly for OKC because Scotty doesn't think twice to play him, and he's a rookie with no familiarity with their team. He plays because he fits a need for the team. Thomas may or may not work out but we will never know if Pop doesn't play him.
I guess it's "not fair" to him LOL.![]()
Pop already fell in love with Ayres. He is as D League as you can get.
M Thomas looks like an NBA player, wish pop would get off his old stubbornness and just admit Ayers is a bad idea.
Wow. A lottery pick gets minutes in the NBA while an undrafted player doesn't!
spurfan!
You wankers are ridiculous. LMAO. If you noticed, Cojo tore it up in the D-League. Nando looks like a fkn MVP in the D-League. So what if Thomas looks good in the D-League? The D-League is full of fkn useless scrubs.
Kinda like how splitter and George hill got so many minutes their rookie seasons?
At least give him the opportunity to see if he is a scrub or not...
Compared to an undrafted player?
Absolutely.
spurfan gets it!
Great post!
I was compelled.
It's just so rare that a lottery pick gets minutes in his NBA rookie season.
