So it still seems strange to me that we have Dwight Howard (running along with James Harden no less). Now that we are a good chunk into the season, I have accepted it as a great reality.
I was skeptical about Howard because of the way he handled himself in the media over the last couple of years and his health issues. You have seen some of these HS to NBA players expire a bit early due to mileage. However, any NBA fan realizes that you sign Howard when you get the chance.
I think that everyone from the national and local media to the fans became similarly skeptical. It caused them to forget the massive talent and basketball player that is Dwight Howard. It made them forget the good person that is Dwight Howard.
Howard is getting healthier. He has McHale and Olajuwon behind him. Their is talent around him and we will likely be adding more. I really am starting to love watching the guy. He plays hard and he seems to be a good leader. Lucky us.
Dwight is compared to what hes capable of being. He is the only elite player since 2009 in that young pool of guys (Lebron, Durant, etc) to digress that badly.....Rose too technically.
PERIOD
Can ya imagine the feeling of relief when Kobe met him at center court in the Summer of '09? Like shaved pussy.
He has looked like prime Howard lately, tbh, maybe he's almost 100%..
..drifting now, what 10 years? Still ain't won a ing toaster, must less an NBA World le. You gonna let him walk thru you, Har? Just boogie on in?
He isn't why rockets lost tonight. decisions by his guards and being down by double digits
Horse . It's his responsibility to take them to it. Christ, at home, 9's.
outta here, you old . He's averaging only 22 and 15 on above 60% shooting in his last 10 games, and is actually shooting close to 60% from the line for the season. You're just salty that he left after you begged him to stay. lol Lakers getting blown out by the ty Suns as we speak.
You let him fight his own battles, Heel. If I want any lip from you I'll take the zipper on my Sportabout's down.
Savvy?
Savvy? Try salty.
injuries
Seems like Dwight made the right decision getting out of LA. Looks like he's headed back to elite status.
You feelin' better, Heel? It's been over 6 months now.
As long as he doesn't ring, he can knock himself out.
It's been only 6 games for $48 mil now....
Please. He's still on the old contract. The one where he delivered back-to-back NBA les in.
Now wait a minute, Lefty, your ass needs to live with that little video of Duncan missing two layups while using Battier as a fulcrum. Dude, duder, Lefty. C'mon, dude.
Oh, I don't think he'll ever ring as an alpha, but it's clear to me that LA was a bad fit for him. His skillset was not adequately appreciated while he was there. Had Kobe allowed him to take the reins, I think the Lakers would've had a better season and maybe Dwight stays onboard and The Begging doesn't have to happen.
Or, at least that's what Media "told" you to think & say.
Christ, you too, Jugs? I thought you walked tall. Though I probably have you mixed up with the other followers.
& your ass needs to live with $48 million and The Sweep....
By God before I'll live the with 48 million I'm living with the old contract and the back-to-back it governed.
