They have the # 1, 2, and 3 defenses in both yards and points

    1. Seattle
    2. Carolina
    3. San Francisco

The also have the # 3, 4, and 11 rushing offenses

    3. San Francisco
    4. Seattle
    11. Carolina

Contrast that to their passing offense rankings:

    26. Seattle
    28. Carolina
    31. San Francisco

    Oh boy!

Kaeper 's tiness as a passer is partially made up by the fact he has the best offensive weapons out of the bunch. As long as he throws the ball in their general direction they'll catch it.

    Rushing Offense:

    12. Patriots
    14. Denver
    20. Indianapolis

    Passing Offense:

    1. Denver
    7. New England
    18. Indianapolis

Furthermore, the Top 25 passing offenses are currently led by White QB's...the only quasi-asterisk here would be Washington ranked #15 because Cousins has only made 2 starts, but in his starts this year he's averaging close to 50 more yds/game than more RG3--so, asterisk removed.

5 of the last 7 ranked passing offenses are helmed by spearchuckers.

Lynch is 27th in ypc among running backs tbh. wilson is 4th in ypa and 6th in qbr. with their lack of outside weapons, they do need to be run heavy though. its the same story with the pre-moss patriots. brady was great, but they had mediocre weapons and relied on the run and their defense

If you know that, then his agent sure as knows that...gonna be tough for Seattle fan if they don't ring before his payday. Would suck to see them be up-and-coming just to start losing all their pieces.

history says they'd be stupid to give a big money contract to a 28 year old running back anyway

weaksauce. wilson has a couple of more years under contract, so it wouldn't affect lynch during his free agency

Lynch signed a 4 year deal in 2012... so he would expire as a 30 year old running back. Wilson on the other hand has his rookie deal for another 2 seasons, which would make him one of the best young qb's in the league, black or white. its a no brainer

how has minnesota done with adrian peterson in years when they had qb's? running game only takes you so far.

the only black qb's that i'm a fan of are Wilson and Campbell. if that makes me a lover.

Made it to the playoffs with Tarvaris Jackson and Christian Ponder, an amazing feat. Also, where did I say re-sign a 30 y/o RB? He's going to demand Top-5 money when his time is due and he's nowhere near a Top 5 QB in the NFL who can carry a team with parts like Brady, Luck, Rodgers, etc. Better hope he rings before payday, because his inflated payday is coming. They'll start losing defensive studs too. , better hope he wins this year, given the nature of the ever-improving NFC West and the fact that they won't get a last-place schedule again anytime soon.

why do you keep bringing up the ypc shtick ? he has the same ypc than frank gore, and only 0.3 less than Adrian Peterson.. you can't keep expecting teams to allow him to run them out when any team knows what they are going to do..

the ypc shtick? ypc is arguably the most important stat for a running back. its not an end-all-be-all, but to dismiss it as a "shtick" is seriously re ed. there's a reason guys like barry sanders and AP average 5.0 ypc for their careers. there's a reason why jamaal charles and lesean mccoy have great ypc numbers. it tells you how well they do on average on a given running play. do you also call batting average a shtick in baseball?

yeah it's the far away more overrated stat in football imho.. which is why i would always take a lynch ahead of the ridley like rbs.. and since when Charles and mcCoy have done anything meaningful in their career aside of being awesome rbs? when it gets though, you'll want a reliable rb before any speedster no matter what.

I feel like jumping off a bridge when reading raven's posts tbh.

But, if I was a Bills fan, I'd be pretty salty about that Lynch trade, especially in light of Fred Jackson, and Spiller's injury woes. I genuinely feel for Bills fans there. Also, the fact that we traded you Tavaris Jackson, just for him to get cut and end up as our backup

To think, if Lynch wasn't running people over in real life as good as he was on the field, he may still be a Buffalo Bill
