we need something like aminu and Ilyasova or maybe another good perimeter defender and the team start to look completely different in its defensive rotations ... probably one scorer (Afflalo or riding) also would have been great, but now I think it is expected duncan and ginobili come out the books and see what the front office can do to keep the team among the best

That line really doesn't cut it at this point because we've gotten our asses handed to us 5 times at home (Twice by OKC, Twice by HOU, and once by IND). It's not just one game in December anymore.

since the game against the pacers anyone with a minimum of sense saw that this year the team has what it takes to reach the next level, the issue and the Spurs improved somewhat (beli / neal) but the other teams elite improved more

I really want to know what makes people think the Spurs will easily run over the Clippers again this year?

some feel that the team miraculously started playing elite level defense parker and returned to shoot 50% again, regardless of whether the other team have changed the coach and improved its system

Nobody said we want Parker to be passive, We just want him to run a competent offense(like Chris Paul or any other top point guard). If Howard has five fouls how about NOT taking another jumpshot and give it to the bigs. Or when Leonard's on a hot streak, give him the ball. The Spurs team has been successful the last two years because of the system. This year, Parker's running that system into the ground.

take off the homer glasses, last season was a miracle run which was guided by a combination of luck and an all time great in duncan giving it his all. lol at you thinking we can make another run like that.
