Lol we lost game seven in the finals before, and we lose a regular season game in December and y'all are acting like it's the end of the world
absolutely lost ALL games against elite teams or near it this season, and in most games running 48 minutes behind the marker and you think this is just normal, and looks at the record as if we had a case against these teams this year how about looking at the record against top teams? I'd say it's 0-x

I have pretty much figured out you are a troll just by your responses. You add nothing other then ty takes. You are very predictable since you have no solution on how to fix the spurs problems. When pressed you give no responses. I just wonder if you are a heat, laker, or thunder fan in disguise. Folks please stop responding to this re obviously he is here to stir up drama. I'm done with you.

take off the homer glasses, last season was a miracle run which was guided by a combination of luck and an all time great in duncan giving it his all. lol at you thinking we can make another run like that.
lol didn't Miami need luck to win game six? Sometimes it takes luck to win a championship if you knew anything.

I agree with you but the Spurs clearly have problems right now. Parker/Green/Leonard have all regressed. The Spurs still don't have that 3 and D type of player they desperately need and they are struggling against teams they will most likely face in the playoffs. The only encouraging things have been the play of Manu/Marco/Diaw/Patty.

Luck only plays a very small role in a 7-game series

They're no worse w/o him either. OKC is still the best team in the West when healthy, 2 superstars is enough for OKC anyway.
This is just a bad take. Harden made the Thunder a top-tier team. They're still good now, but given what Harden just did to the Spurs a few minutes ago, how can you argue that Harden would make OKC worse? , they might've been better than the Heat at this point given Wade's decline.

what's more likely, every team improving more or us getting worse ?
improved a little, the other teams have improved a lot, simple as that.

The Celtics were still a good defensive team from 2011-13 though. Stop being delusional.
Without Thibodeau, Doc Rivers couldn't figure out how to use the best defensive team in the league to defeat the most predictable player in the league in the finals.

I won't quit on the team but damn right now things are looking kinda bleak. ty end to a fun Christmas.
I think the z just haven't been able to get over the Finals debacle. Evident as the first few weeks of this season. It's almost as if they're still grieving and , and their mind just isn't totally there. But it's still a long season and I'm hopeful that (barring significant injuries) they'll get out of that funk and return to the promise land.

Tim gave it his all, basically won us the championship last season until his teammates the bed and screwed it all up for him.

So this is how Parker follows it up? Playing like a ball against almost every good team this season. Thanks a lot Tony, you've really come through for Tim Duncan.

Wow. What a take. With Harden, OKC would be in the Finals every season. We would be seeing some epic OKC/Miami Finals series if Harden stuck around and most likely win a championship with the decline of LeBron/Wade. Instead, they'll just keep losing in the Finals at best and KD/Russ will bolt from that small market.

No matter how anyone slices it, this was an embarrassing loss. It's early in the season yes but no self respecting elite team should be 0-7 vs other elite teams at this point in the season and how can we expect to have home court in the playoffs if we keep doing this? The rockets looked so much faster, while we could barely keep up with them while working hard for shots. They looked flat out superior to us in every facet of the game

Durant-Westbrook-Harden is better than Durant-Westbrook, period. Not sure how it's even possible to argue this point. It's beyond debate. Harden is a great player. Durant is a great player. Westbrook is a decent player. They had great chemistry. All three are better now than they were 3 years ago. Given 2 extra years of chemistry development, they could very well have been the best team in the league.

This season is in Pop's hands. Will he continue to be stubborn, or will he shake things up a little bit? He isn't known to shake things up, maybe this is the year....now more than ever, time actually is running out with our core.
