Mavs beat the Lockets twice this season tbh, but it doesn't mean we'd have a better chance to survive a mavs - spurs series than our opponents would. monkeyball is just the nightmare style of game to them old spurs imho. I remember a game against monkeyball where the spurs had a fantastic start but blew their lead away in the 2nd quarter and ended up losing the game. monkeyball just exposes Spurs' major weaknesses, just like pigball to Miami imho

^ that 7'6 ain't playing there anymore so there's not likely gonna be any serious injury biting them, but even if they can stay healthy they'll still be nothing but a yellow stack of fodder to the good teams such as Spurs, monkeyball, OKC and Dallas tbh.

Well I said that during the first week of play ...
Chicken s wait for a injury to come to teh same realization.
Too many flaws in the other west Contenders:

Clips = too much monkeyshines and a over-reliance on CP3 to close games ...
POR = too young, too many jumpers
Rox = ty coach, Dwight's post moves over reliance on Harden's Iso and Ft's
GSW = Over reliance on 3's and weak defenders

No one else has a shot at contending so Spure are the prohibitive favorites ... To lose an even more heart-breaking series (if possible) than the last one.
Utah's 2nd loss to Mj's bulls was even more disheartening than the first one ... Lebron playing the Mj role, Ray allen is Stve Kerr with Wade as Pippen and Tony and Timmy the Stockton and Malone roles.
