I remember the only thing I desired as a kid for Christmas was a Super Nintendo. When I got that gift it was the best feeling in the world. Sure I would get other gifts in future years but nothing topped how much fun that system was. As odd as this sounds other than wanting the SNES I wasn't really materialistic and didn't really gave about other things afterwards. If your a kid all you really need is some good shoes and clothes. If you get those things you shouldn't be ing about other things.

Very true, it makes me chuckle when I see some posters EXPECTING to win it all this year and won't accept that Tim Duncan is likely unable to turn back the clock again. He is "coasting" and will play at 2003 level come playoffs many of them believe.

Can't knock the spoiled kids too much. They were fun to hang around in high school. They were usually try to hards that paid for everything to be accepted.
