This is why I'm glad Pop is a worried old lady sometimes. RW was supposed to be out until mid December, but they have him basically at the beginning of the season? He probably wasn't healed from this summer.
Reports are he under went a scope procedure because of swelling of his knee.

Now the Thunder will be a 4-5 seed. Huge for us. Playoffs will now be:
(1) Spurs/ (8) T-Wolves
(2)Trailblazers/ (7) Suns
(3) Clippers/ (6) Warriors
(4) Thunder/ (5) Rockets
And the Thunder can take out the Rockets for us with a healthy Westbrook. Perfect!
He'll be fresh in the POs unlike TP who is gonna be injured or dead tired...
And nf that means if we get the number one seed we play a healthy okc in round 2!
Let eat them go through Houston Portland and tire out by the time they get to us
Spursfan thinks the Thunder has the same ty backup point guards we have... They're gonna be a top 3 seed for sure...
This is the BEST time to rest tony and even Tim. Okc won't pull away and as long as we stay ahead of Houston we should be fine. Plus this would give much needed time for Leonard to integrate into the offense.
Nice job Scott Brooks tbh.
Let's look at all the easiest ways possible the Spurs can advance because we all know the spurs can't get though against healthy teams.
Westbrook playing style is exactly same as Rose's. Explosive, extreme speed with sudden, instantaneous stops that put a ton of pressure on the knees, I see season ending injuries for him soon.
Spurs needs to rest Parker and hope he doesn't suffer a major injury. His playing style is much more finesse/quickness than explosiveness, but the Euro games after longest possible season in the NBA really hit him hard.
I don't know how LeBron can play the way he does without suffering a major injury, there is still hope.
You need luck to win a championship with an aging, small market roster, when you are up against super teams with re ed rosters (twin towers + Kobe, Boston big three near prime, and Heat big three).

Russell is starting to exhibit the norm for explosive players, body can't always keep up with the demand and seems like a lingering problem unless he's given sufficient time to heal or change his style. Now we will see if Lamb and Jackson are real deal or if Durant is in trouble.
theyre betta witout westbrick tbh
OKC is now officially in the #TankForWiggins sweepstakes
God I hope the Thunder fall to the 3 seed. Then we have OKC/Clippers second round and they also probably have to deal with Portland/Houston/GSW in the first round.
They'll still finish top 3. They're a better team this year than they were last year. On the other hand, that's about 30 games Westbrook is going to miss, and according to Sam Presti it might be more after the ASG. Spurs really need to make up some ground here.
ty news for Methfan. Great news for us.
He'll probably rush back again and play reasonably close to his usual level relatively quickly, since this is the Thunder we're talking about. In the meantime, I'm sure the rest of the team will remain 100% healthy and continue to regularly face opposition missing key players.
I still wouldn't rule them out for the 1 seed though. With Parker unable to carry the Spurs offensively on a game to game basis, like the past few seasons, I can't see the Spurs getting it and the only other serious contender at the moment, the Trail Blazers, have a sub par defense and fluke record in close games/overtime. At some point, you'd think regression to the mean kicks in.
haha, man the wolves aren't making the playoffs. and i think u are underestimating the power of the officials. this just means durant's freethrows are going up. but yes, they aren't going anywhere without westbrook.
wiggins is a skiny kid with no strength that can't drive to his left. that's the REAL scouting report. he's a very good shooter. with the right team and help from the commisioner letting the officials know to give him the superstar treatment, his flaws won't be noticed.
Bottom in line, if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. All of you rejoicing and praying for the easiest path in the playoffs are clowns. The Spurs will draw who they draw, and they had better be ready. The Thunder will still be a top 3 seed, you all know it, quit praying for different. If we want a shot at the ring there is a BIG chance we have to go through OKC. Welcome the challenge. And if not OKC, Portland, LAC, and Houston will be waiting. It's a damn good conference.
Also, Pop should sit Parker, this should be all the incentive he needs. Westbrook is out hurt. Parker should rest for a few weeks. He is clearly gassed. I guess we will wait and see...
lol at these comments. you people are delusional thinking OKC will finish as a 4 or 5 seed.
