What ESPN boards? that place has more s than Mos Eisley spaceport ...
    I never wish ill on a player's health ...
Back then it was the AOL boards which were pretty big back then. I was in hschool at the time. I remember a lot of the laker fans were rejoicing about Duncan's injury when it was announced. They trolled spurs board at the time pretty hard about it and rubbed it in.

No I mean in the playoffs. Whenever the Lakers, Spurs, or even the Mavs won a le they had to face 1 or 2 serious threats. Aside from Dallas that beat them and arguably the Pacers of last year, they still havent faced a legitimately scary team. Spurs logically shouldnt have been more than a 5 game series and they still struggled. Last year was a dream come true for the Heat, the entire league lost its star player except the Spurs and they still barely won
This is true. Without Ray's jumper (and bosh rebound) the hole NBA landscape is changed.
People thought I was being a prick posting that article but there is not a single shot that has impacted NBA history more than Ray allen's "bang".
He got Wade "3", Lebron and himself "2" ...and Denied Duncan of "5"
Those are 3 of the greatest players of the past 20 years and Ray is not that far behind Wade ... and Ray's jumper changed the storyline for everyone.

Talking and taking joy in injury are two different things.
And remember it's you blokes that preach "class".
Spurs are classy Tim such an unselfish superstar yet many cowards on here just want to win and enjoy easy paths to the Finals ...and revel in teh injury of opponents.

Yall call out Harden/Cp3 for being chicken floppers but yall don't have the heart to want to beat the best.
As a Lakers fan I WANTED the 80's Celtics not the Sixers in 2000 I wanted to beat the Spurs and was sorry that Tim Derek Anderson got hurt because who wants to beat someone at less than their best?
you can't compare classiness of Spurs to this website, which is like a warped version of Spurs fans. other websites like PtR aren't like this, it's just the nature of this site, so I wouldn't assign karma based on SpursTalk when it's a small representation of a bigger picture.

I personally don't wish injury on any player, I wouldn't want it happening to any team or player I liked. This could help out Spurs though, I won't lie, but it's not our fault for it happening if you want to talk karma. like I said, Lakers been inflated by lots of shadiness with a sociopath as their leader, how is that kosher?

The pacers and spurs were legit. It's not uncommon for the top seed to have a cakewalk the first 2 rounds

Wouldn't you be looking for a scapegoat if you ed up by trading your second best player for nothing, getting your best player re-injured, with a real chance Durant bolts?

You figured this was going to happen at some point.

He kind of busted himself after teh comeback. He went full tilt. You just cant do that after coming off injury. Brooks should have limitted his minutes to a point.

Bin Harden is not better than Westbrook or Durant, not now, not ever.

He looks like a guy who will have chronic knee problems for the rest of his career. His style of play will cause it to happen. I have never seen a PG who relies on super athleticism and remain injury free for a long time. Marbury,Francis,Baron those guys all come to mind when it comes to knee injuries and their style of play were similar to Westbrook.

He was destined to be healthy, he hardly missed any games his entire basketball career ( college through NBA, till Beverley injury), Beverley is the reason this knee issue flared up, tbh. Westbrook is a freak compared to those guys, even Baron.

Beverley is not the reason it flared up. Presti is for rushing him back too early.

Beverley is the reason the knee issue occurred in the 1st place, no? Management did not help (they should know Westbrook goes all out in every game), tho their would have to be no worries for restrictions, if it had not been for that dirty play. That cannot be denied.

It wasn't dirty. It happens all the time in the NBA, even by Westbrook.

It is crazy how healthy Westbrook was prior, like a ghetto bag version of Wolverine. That injury didn't look that hardcore, I've seen guys recover from much worse. It does seem like the Thunder are shifting the blame for rushing him back, possible PEDs, playing him too much etc....
