I think they just lost their division to Portland unless they get hurt. Also eyeing a first round match up vs. Houston or SAS.

They'll coast in the West and stay top 3 in the division.
Agreed. Everyone is going to point to tonight's close victory as otherwise. Westbrook didn't just have surgery last night right? Lol. It's not as if it's not going to take a few games to get into a groove without him? SMH. Everyone around here is so eager for every team in the NBA to suc b to injuries or bad luck. That's like fans of other teams rejoicing if Parker or Duncan got hurt. People around here are so afraid of compe ion. I want to beat other teams at their best, if an injury occurs fine. The Thunder are here to stay barring Durant going down and we as fans should welcome the challenge, not lie to ourselves that the Thunder are going to crumble. Of course I don't want the hardest path possible for the Spurs, but however the stars align is how they align. The best the Spurs can do is take care of business in regular season and get home court. At least you get it bro.

I still believe that the Clippers can get them if they really are 27 games out

A blunt assessment of their season w/o RW is not the same as wanting him to get injured. They also have no system to fall back on. Their entire offense is running, and a series of ISOs for KD and RW. Now, it's just ISOs for KD. Think teams won't see that coming?

I don't know how LeBron can play the way he does without suffering a major injury, there is still hope.

I just think their new role players will hang in there just fine. Last night was a rough start, but that's all it is. A start. I could totally be wrong. I don't care wither way how OKC does tbh. But i'm not going to depend on them folding up for confidence.

Agreed. Especially if you got look at him in his younger days. It's not like he was a completely ripped freak of nature. He was very slender. Supremely athletic, and a super streaky shooter. Now he looks like a roided out cheat. Everyone knows...

and the bigger he gets, the FASTER he gets. i've never in my life seen someone put on 25-30 pounds and get faster. i've never seen it, none of you have ever seen it, and none of these commentators have ever seen it. but they will continue to ignore the obvious until he and his supplier has a disagreement.

There's a reason he and Wade have beards. HGH leaves a VERY pronounced jaw bone in its wake.

They were awful in the playoffs without RW, just awful. I don't envision a total collapse ,but he's going to miss basically a third of the season, 27 games. There's no way that you plug DFish into rotation, and they hold us off until he gets back. I expect us to pick up at least 5-6 games while he is gone, and maybe another 1-2 while he is rusty.

OKC struggled with the Bobcats last night. That tells you all you need to know.

Looking at their next 10 games they should easily handle 7 of those match ups, they probably struggle against Houston and Portland but Brooklyn, Minnesota, Boston, Utah, Denver, Milwaukee & Memphis are teams they can beat with what they have.

They lost last year because Memphis slowed the pace of the game down and Durant is way too economical for his own good at times, he's not a volume shooter, takes what the defense gives him and likes to pass.

If he's out 30 games they probably go 20-10 and that's still respectable

Honestly, it really is unreal the way no one says as much of a single word pertaining to Lebron's questionable physique. Not even a mention. I just don't get it. Usually there is always a cloud of su ion around the obvious guys. And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Wade mentioned among the athletes Biogenesis had supplied with drugs? Why did that never materialize??? It was just swept under the rug...

I agree with you here. They'll probably win 2 of every 3 along that stretch of games unless anyone else gets banged up, in which case they become very thin. On the Bobcats game, they're not as historically bad as in past years (two games under .500 and just a 1.2 point differential, albeit in the LEast).

when lebron can no longer make the league money, they will act as if they knew nothing about it and turn their backs on him. just wait. the truth ALWAYS comes out. we've seen some strange things in sports the past 10 years..

manny pacqiauo jumping 8 weight classes and carrying 1 punch power with him
barry bonds going from the size of rey mysterio to the size of john cena and tripling his home run output
lebron james putting on over 25 lbs of muscle and getting faster and jumping higher in the process
roger clemens arm getting better as he aged into his 40s

    wtf

If we had been at full strength in playoffs in 2000, 2001, 2008, 2009, or 2010 maybe spurs fans wouldn't be so bitter about teams that always avoid injury.
