Why do I care what other Laker fans think? The best man in my wedding and I argue this constantly. He hates the tank word I said fine rebuild. I dont root for us to lose in fact if the game is close I root for us to win but that is my heart, my head knows a playoff appearance is the absolute last thing THIS Lakers team needs.they hustle play a fan appealing uptemp style ...as ling ad they are compe ive but lose I don't like it but accept it. We haven't been contenders in 3 years ...need to bottom out this year and rebuild.

Please. Any other team and we'd be absolutely inundated with vows to avenge 6. Neat little stories of bravura and deep seated longings to make right what had been torn asunder. But, you can't write those stories, or, make those vows, because in real time it never happened. Sure, I shoved/shove you ceaselessly, but, I'm the only one who ever laid a hand on ya's. , Media was so ing happy they left you completely alone. Never denied being a Kobe fan its a big part of why I joined here but he is only the 2nd greatest Laker which Kool and many others can't accept ...its closer than Kobe bashers will admit but it is still Magic imho

Kobe was in the finals in 03 and 10 and didn't win...you don't get credit for losing....you only get credit for 5...just as Kobe....but Kobe has him beat in the other intangibles....such as shooting, defense, mid and low post games, had better range..the only thing Magic was better than Kobe at is passing and setting teammates up...Magic was the overall better leader but Kobe was the better player...but then again it was the very nature of their jobs...one a PG and the other a SG....

lol..ok back to the issue here...while Magic played with Kareem he never played with a ball dominant and demanding player like Shaq....Magic took from Kareem what Kobe took from Shaq....Shaq and Kobe could have 5 peated had Shaq been dedicated...so they won 3 and Kobe went off and got those extra two....Magic never won without Kareem
