Congratulations to Three, tbh..DENVER -- Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade confirmed reports on Monday that he fathered a child to a woman other than his fiancee, actress Gabrielle Union.
He made the comments prior to the Heat's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Wade disclosed in September on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno that he and Union had taken a brief hiatus from their long-term relationship, but had since reunited. On December 21, both Wade and Union announced their engagement on Twitter.
"In our time apart, in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son who was born healthy," Wade said.
Wade said the infant was approximately a month old.
"I got a chance to see him," Wade said. "I'm involved in my kids' lives, you know. When my kids lived at home with me, when they weren't living at home with me, I tried to do everything I could to see them."
Wade has two children, Zion and Zaire, from a previous marriage. In March 2012, Wade won sole custody of them after a contentious court battle. They were a focal point of his 201 memoir, "A Father First," in which responsible parenting was a central theme.
Asked if the event of the birth compromised the message of the book, Wade insisted it did not.
"It would compromise it if I wasn't a father first," Wade said. "This is something obviously private for my family that we will continue to deal with as a family. But we have a blessing, too, to the bloodline, the Wade bloodline. From that standpoint, to me, it doesn't state anything differently than what I've always shown."

Gabrielle is a classy wholesome chick, I don't understand why she keeps going back to Wade. Must be a career thing and the allure of dating an athlete who's in the spotlight. Props to Wade though, she's older but Union is first round pick material.

I don't really follow her career, but I didn't view her as a gold digger considering she made money on her own, unlike your typical NBA groupie. I do agree that she's most likely clinging on Wade because D is at least relevant while her acting career is on a limbo.

Dwyane Wade’s self-proclaimed “top mistress”, Sandrina, is telling all. She recently approached the gossip site “Full Court Pumps” with information regarding her time spent with Wade. Sandrina claims she has been Wade’s jumpoff in LA since before he started dating Gabrielle Union. After Gabby came into the picture Wade continued to see Sandrina and partake in orgies he would organize with her where girls received between $1,500 – $4,000 for the night.
Apparently, Wade recently found out Sandrina was sleeping with another NBA player and went ballistic on her because he had been financing her lifestyle. For example, he paid for her breast implants, clothes, apartment, etc. This argument is the reason Sandrina decided to tell all. Sandrina even goes so far as to claim Gabrielle Union partook in some of the action at the orgies. This is difficult to believe, but stranger things have happened.
Note, this is pure gossip and Sandrina has yet to backup her claims with any evidence, but if even a shred of it is true Wade’s got to be sweating bullets right now.

Wade, along with fellow sports honorees Tom Glavine of the New York Mets and Hulk Hogan of WWE fame, will be presented with Father of the Year trophies by MC Ozzie Smith, a Baseball Hall of Fame shortstop and a 1986 National Father of the Year.
The trio of sports figures will be joined by fellow winners Gen. George W. Casey, Jr., the current U.S. Army Chief of Staff; Former U.S. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, who is now a Democratic candidate for President in 2008; Allen Sirkin, President & COO of Phillips-Van Heusen; Harry Smith, co-host of CBS-TV’s “The Early Show;” and middle school principal Laurence Whitcomb of Great Valley, NY, who was named America’s “Ashok Sani All-Star Dad” in a compe ion sponsored by the National Father’s Day Committee, Men’s Health magazine and the Sani Family Foundation.
