Not saying its a great hire, but he took a college in the middle of the biggest scandal/coverup in college sports history, a school that EVERYBODY said was absolutely doomed to an extended period of awfulness, and kept them respectable. Thats gotta count for something.

Convincing players to stay when they could transfer w/o having to sit out a year and were staring at the prospect at being bowl ineligible the rest of their college careers is impressive imo.

True Watt needs a sidekick, however where the Texans struggled most on defense was with LBs and CBs, and Wade needs to take his old ass home because offenses have figured him out.
