sons LSU was playing a freshman QB ... if Mett wouldn't have been hurt then they would have easily won that game by at least three scores. even with Les Miles and his below average coaching.
regardless ... a win is a win and LSU had control the entire game.

lol Baylor is complete and utter trash. what a disgrace they were in a BCS bowl.
lol getting owned by a community college from Florida.
Way overrated after playing a ridiculously weak schedule. No Big 12 team (even if 'Big 12 Champion' and 'undefeated') should get anywhere near the playoffs next year.
Next year is next year -- stupid analysis.
And the Big 12 sucked last year ...Baylor was still allowed to climb too high in the rankings after playing a weak schedule. Unless the Big 12 has some massive OOC wins next year to prove it's not garbage, no team from that conference should be highly ranked.
The SEC has more big and fast athletes than any other conference. Everyone can run. The only draw back is a lot of them are dumber than a rock so we see a lot of penalties not unlike SWAC/MEAC ball.
The SEC recruits speed. All these sprinters were SEC footballers.
John Capel Florida an Olympian
Jeff Demps Florida an Olympian
Willie Gault Tennessee an Olympian
Leonard Scott Tennessee his 9.91 the fastest 100m ever ran by any footballer.
Xavier Carter LSU, his 19.63 one of the fastest 200m times ever ran.
Herschel Walker Georgia, his 10.23 one of the fastest times ever ran by a running back.
Bo Jackson Auburn...4.19...!
Sam Graddy Tennessee an Olympian
Alexander Wright Auburn....NFL FASTEST MAN...winner
Eddie Kennison LSU...NFL FASTEST MAN...winner
Richmond Flowers Tennessee, one of the fastest 110hh in the world.
Trindon Holliday LSU...the fastest NFL kick returner in history, 10.00.
The SEC is too big and too fast and it comes in waves. Sub 4.5 guys all over the place.
But.....FSU also recruits speed. They are the one school who has sprinters on a par with SEC teams (N. Makusha the NCAA 100m record holder just one). They will not be out speeded like everyone else is by SEC teams.
However, we do have to look at how easy the Seminoles had it in 2013, what good team doesn't kick ass on the ACC? While Auburn was battle tested many times in 2013. What happens when FSU has to dig deep, something totally new to them.
I'm a USC/Pac12 fan by the way.

I'd put money on Willie Gault in his prime, who returned kicks as well, to beat out Trindon Holliday in the 40 and 100. Gault ran a 4.27 40 when he was 48 years old and still cracks 10 flat at the age of 48 in the 100. Trindon's best is 4.21 in his prime. I can google too.
Avante trying to hide in the college forum since he's been run out of the club and NFL forum
in one hand...
As much as I truly truly hope that Auburn wins the BCS Championship, I fear that their 'miracles' have run their course. I haven't followed FSU at all this year, but I have watched Auburn's rather porous defense with major concern. FSU will have had almost a month to prepare for Auburn's offense, which most of the SEC teams did not this year.
I do agree that the SEC is by far the strongest conference in College football.
As for the overall wins of SEC teams vs. others in the Bowl games, I think it just proves that "on any given day".
I watched the Stanford-Michigan State game yesterday and wondered if anyone other than Bama could have beat either of those teams.
The SEC is by far the most overrated conference in football.
you are by far the most ignorant poster on this board.
He's also a Lakers fan.
lol It's truly amazing and pathetic at the same time how everyone in the sucker conference openly cheerlead for rival schools in order to prove a point. The BCS has always had a bias towards the SEC, not because they are special. 4 decent teams this year while the rest is garbage. Saban and Meyer carried the SEC, it was not, and is not a dominant conference.
SEC schools are below average schools and allow dumb athletes to stay in school. Texas has lost Daje Johnson due to academics he was one of the fastest guys in college football. It's easy to recruit athletes when they don't have to do much to stay eligible.
Where I will give the SEC real credit is the number of very good coaches in that conference. That is what really makes a difference. The Big 12 has about 4 great coaches, the B!G has 1 great coach, ACC has 1 or 2, and the PAC has 2 or 3 great coaches.
the SEC has like 7 or 8 great coaches and that is a low ball. That is what really makes a difference.
I take it Avante is choosing Auburn which means I am happy.
Pac-12 closed the gap on the SEC this season and with the number of QBs leaving the SEC, the Pac-12 could be the best next season. Big 12 has dipped the last two seasons even though it was very strong in 2011 and probably better than the SEC overall that year which really had only 3 strong teams in Bama, LSU, and Arkansas. Georgia and South Carolina weren't that good and no one else stood out.
I'm not sure if you're aware that all the major schools from AQ conferences recruit the same players. All colleges including public Ivy's like USC and Stanford have specialized programs for student athletes that aren't strong academically, but excell in sports. If the #1 QB on the board wanted to attend USC, do you really think they'd turn him away because he had low SAT scores or his mulative average was belowa 3.0? You're only kidding yourself. This is just another silly attempt to take another potshot at the SEC. Lord only knows, you can't rag on them for their on-field performance.
FYI, aTm, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Florida are all strong academically.
He's just a big homer and hasn't ever shown any real objectivity.
Not true at all. Aggsy and Missouri aren't really SEC in that they don't have degree programs to hide the re athletes like Arkansas, LSU, Bama, Tennessee, KU, Ole Miss, Miss state, USC, and auburn. All those schools have general education degree programs that are used to keep their athletes eligible.
You won't find a degree like that at USC, or Stanford, or UCLA, or Texas or aggsy, or Missouri or most of your Big 10 schools. There is no place to hide.
Second, most schools know when they can and can't get a kid into school. This year, there was a linebacker named Scott, he committed early to the Aggsy, but he likely won't make it into school so most schools didn't try very hard to recruit him.
Often Texas will not recruit a player if they feel they won't be able to keep him eligible, remember schools are now penalized for low graduation rates.
