None of the guys listed are Elite shooters ( except for durant)..a lot of them are elite scorers but not elite shooters. I'd like to know how guys like Curry, Green, Korver, etc release their shots...

Yes, of course I shoot it with my index finger since the shooting button is "D". Middle finger for pass (X) and layup or dunk (S), index finger for shoot (D) and block (E). Ring finger for Alley-oop (A) and calling timeout (Q), littler finger for sprint (left shift), and thumb for "turbo" (space).
