As in "I don't want any of these teams to win the SB": Saints vs Pats
As in "I will only watch the game if I have nothing else to do": Packers vs Bengals
KC vs. SF would be glorious only if Smith s on the 9ers.

Seriously, Cam vs Luck is actually a much better comparison than Luck vs RG3. Both were No. 1 overall. Both had basically the exact same combine, each is one metric apart in all of the categories. Cam's been in the league a year longer, but Luck's shown so much growth and maturity in only two seasons that the extra starts Cam has probably doesn't give him any edge at all. Colts have defeated all of the good defenses they faced this year except Cincinnati and a lot of us Colts fans think if we had to play the Bengals again it would be a different game because Luck "figured it out" in the 2nd half of that game when he threw four TD passes; the offense has been on fire since half time of that game.
I think it would be a great Super Bowl if both of those teams made it. Do I think the Colts can make it that far? Yes, but they'll have to play perfect football (no turnovers, low-to-no penalties) to get there and probably need their opponents to screw up at least once. Panthers certainly have a favorable path with a bye and I think they can beat Seattle.
Because that's the one aspect of the NFL I cant stand. How many teams that are actually better lose because its best of 1
spurraider21 is on point here. KC V Carolina would be absolutely terrible. KC V San Fran would probably suck too. I'd like to see a Seattle V Indianapolis SB. Great story for the media
If they're truly the better team, then they should have no problem proving it on the field, tbh....
That's the matchup i want right now.
I'll take any match because any team that gets there deserves it. As long as the Superbowl is compe ive.
anyone really... SB's tend to be exciting.. even with typically boring teams
Best Superbowl has been Carolina/New England and Pittsburgh/Arizona. The sexy matchups usually disappoint. See Eagles/Patriots in 2005.
This game was up there with game 6 in heartbreakers.
I want Carolina and Cincy because ESPN would be pissed and all these big market team peckers would about a matchup like that.
Since 1997 we've had some exciting SBs:
1997: Awesome Elway-Favre showdown
1998: This could've been one of the all-time greats had Gary Anderson not choked. 14-2 Donks vs 15-1 Vikes would've been NASTY. As soon as the Falcons won the NFCCG you knew the Broncos would stomp them.
1999: ans come up one yd short
2000: Horrible game, Ravens D best ever
2001: Brady upsets Rams
2002: Horrible game.
2003: Panthers-Pats shootout
2004: Not bad, but could've been better had McNabb been in shape
2005: Rigged
2006: Rex Grossman, pouring rain, sloppy game
2007: David Tyree
2008: Ben's clutch drive
2009: Good game, sealed late by Porter
2010: Thought it would be a blowout early, but Pitt rallied and fell one score short
2011: Eli beats NE on last second drive again, incredible throw to Manningham on last drive.
2012: Ravens goal line stand.
You guys do not have Gronk..... Broncos D is worse but their O is way better when fully healthy RIGHT NOW since Gronk is out. That being said I fully look forward to Peyton and Brady again in the playoffs, should be good.
yeah i am not denying that, but it looks favourable from a matchup standpoint. Let me break it down:
-Pats worst problems are red zone offense and run defence
-Pats are mostly a running team this year with a terrific (still, but one injury away from a total meltdown) run blocking line
-The secoundary has been the surprise of the season and it is relatively healthy although i'm not sure weather some key starters will actually be playing in the POs
-Donks can't stop the run, they need Wolfe back BAD
-Vereen solves, in theory, the pats red zone offense, just by being there, since donks can't triple team gronkowski's replacement as no brain goal line target
all in all the matchup should be in our favour, since our run d should be enough to limit Moreno just enough while the broncos can't defend any of our rbs, while the passing shouldn't be that much in denver's favour.
now that you mention it, since 06 we haven't had a "bad" sb.
