I fear that because the fans will put up with such ty conditions, the Packers will get a couple terrible calls in their favor. plus now that Rodgers is part of TEAM BOTTOM, I can see him getting the hookup as well. still Niners are a grim reminder of where he could've played, where he could've buttslammed in peace and quiet, so we still have that edge. Should be a good game.
Plus style of play favors San Fran in the cold. It's like the 2007 NFCCG where everyone assumed Green Bay had the edge in the cold but the Giants clearly did because they were a run first defensive team.

    that is seriously ing stupid.

I know some people up north like to argue that being outside in horrible weather is "real" football, but that's never been true and it's 2014. every stadium should have a retractable roof in case of horrible conditions like that.

now I'm not saying close the roof every time it's cold or sprinkling outside, but that type of weather is absurd. the fans pay way too much money to sit through that crap.
The jokes on them. GB was gonna get blacked out locally in GB tomorrow because no one wanted to buy tickets to that ty weather.

right on. I was thinking of that game earlier.

As long as the officiating ain't too whack, I'll take our chances in this game.

Hifi is my , but a 49ers fan worrying about officiating is strange, tbh..

9ers should win primarily due to coaching, tbh..Harbaugh vs. McCarthy is a huge mismatch, and Green Bay has some of the tiest coaches in the league on the defensive side and special teams unit..

Only way 49ers lose is if Rodgers goes into God-mode or if the SB Losers curse makes an appearance this week, tbh..

I know many (myself included) took a shot at the fans for not selling the game out, but after hearing about the weather I don't blame them. that is stupid and takes away from the way the game was intended to be played.

playing in that type of weather is just a crap shoot.

Like I said before, you'd have to be giving me first tickets to the SB to even entertain such a thought.

On Friday I had to go to work and it was -28F with the wind chill.

Niners have had like that one call against GB, i'm sure they will be talking about it but they should've never called a penalty on Staley in the first place, that roided Clay Matthews pulled a fast one there. besides we already got hosed in the Saints game with the BS call on Brees.

Either way, I agree that Rodgers is always a dangerous QB. I do assume the worst or most paranoid conclusions, but just hoping for a good game for them Niners. Be rocking my Gore jersey as usual.

Pretty sure Rodgers is looking to penetrate that 49ers ass. Hopefully he can throw is this extreme cold.

we're his kryptonite though, he knows he could've played for us and really enjoyed the night life. can't deny I would've loved having Rodgers on the Niners, but it wasn't meant to be. should be a good game though tomorrow.

I visited my parents for the holidays and it was -39 on consecutive nights, tbh.. ing disgusting..

I heard that in Winnipeg on New Year's Eve it was -50..

it's now up to breesus to free us from the mysticism of game managers.
Up to Sean Payton not to get too cute. Pound the rock with Ingram and Robinson. Hopefully Kenan Lewis is back next week, but if not I like our front four's chances against Wilson.

Saints completely dominated, but the conservative play calling almost cost them. Sean is never this conservative I don't know what is going on.

the offense adjusted at half time and Brees was nearly perfect, but the play calling was way too conservative after getting the 20-7 lead.

I disagree about the play-calling brother. I wish Payton would have run the ball the entire game. After the 20-7 lead, Lewis got hurt and the Saints defense fell apart. But the running game won this game. Saints o-line don't block as well on the road so its important they keep running it. Having Pierre hurt was a blessing in disguise since Ingram and Robinson have rushed the ball better most of the season.

son the running game was HUGE and I was proud to see Ingram get into the end zone. I mean they ran the ball almost 60% of the time. HOWEVER ... in crunch time early in the 4th quarter I wanted to see Brees throw the ball for a first down. say what you want, but when the Saints got up 20-7 Payton got too conservative.

but hey who gives a ? ... a win is a win and they learned a lot from this game. this was a huge confidence builder. it's on to Seattle now.

    Everyone predict Sundays games:

I predict two close games. San Diego and Greenbay come out on top. There will be atleast controversial call on one of the games.

Isn't there at least one beatdown every year on WC Weekend? I see the GB-SF being close throughout, which leaves the CIN-SD game. Seriously doubt the Chargers run away with it but there's a possibility the Bengals could blow them out. Cincy plays at an incredibly elite level at home this year, and even though Dalton may have a case of the Matt Ryans, my gut is telling me the Bengals win by 10. Hope I'm wrong though, b/c SD is a dangerous team while Cincy is only capable of winning this one game.
