I know it's still experimentation time, but in an attempt to spread the floor, he's often played Diaw 12-18 minute spurts (young Duncan was the last Spur to play stretches that lengthy), in order to avoid playing Bonner. Then tonight, with Diaw out, he went small instead.
That being said, it's still easier to imagine a scenario whereby Bonner could play a minimal role in the playoffs, as opposed to De Colo, which is why I suspect he's the one who's jettisoned in order to free up a roster spot for an SF. Still, Bonner's days are numbered.
