Asians go out of their way to try and stay white. es in China are wearing masks that cover their whole head so they don't get tanned in any way. The darker skinned Asians in Thailand, the Philippines, and the sort all put on white makeup to appear whiter. Having really dark skin shows that you are lower class because you work outside all day or couldn't attract a lighter skinned significant other.

Oddly enough it's only the men who feel that way, and the large majority of the time those men who say that just think the good looking women must be going somewhere else. I've never met a girl who knows the size of a man's before she sees him.
