Tiago is not a flopper. IF he hits the floor then he is hurt. The way he played Sat. till he got hurt
looks like he could be the best #2 To Duncan since David Robinson. Tiago's game is getting
better to make him a very good defense player and a good scorer around the paint. His passing
is improved as he knows the players now. He is worth every penny we paid in his last contract.

He was actually playing well last night IMO. What a crappy injury.

Should he be out that long though? No way did I think he'd be out that long after seeing it on the replay.

What do you think, Man In Black?

Sounds like a Grade 2 Sprain. 3-5 sounds about right. If he sticks to pattern, it'll be 5 for sure. I hope he surprises us all.

It basically means "as usual" or "as expected".

The three Brazilians bigs tbh : Nene, Verajao and Splitter are all so fragile... The Wizards fans are even beginning to wonder if Nene is not faking it half the time :...

A la "par for the course" or "as expected" basically. One of the stupidest phrases on here...and there are plenty.

The BEST thing that could happen to SA is if Westbrook plays hero and comes back early AGAIN. That's what got him into this current situation. He was supposed to be out until almost Christmas, and missed only two games at the beginning of the season, only to come up with more problems now. If it happens again, he could easily miss the playoffs. I hope for his sake that he's smarter than that, but I haven't seen many indications of patience, maturity, or wisdom on his part, so probably not so much.

He's a chest thumping monkeyballer that relies on quick bursts and sharp stops both of which are extremely taxing on knees. His ego won't let him sit out long enough to heal completely and this will directly impact his career performance. I'd posit that he'll never learn other fundamental skills (defense, passing) to offset his (soon to be) declining athleticism and in just a few years, he'll fade back into the 2nd and 3rd tier of pgs in the league.

The blame is as much on the medical and coaching staff at OKC for letting him push too hard as it is on him for trying to play as soon as he can walk.

Danny's got to be getting close, too. He's been out since 4 January, 3.5 weeks.
