Holy , it's Optimus Prime's Grandfather
My current box I've had for 12 years is on it's last legs, getting terrible feedback from the speakers and looking for a replacement.
(Yeah I keep it trill, you)
Any suggestions? My new system can be more refined but I do want one with some power and some good subwoofers (Current output of system is 360W). Preferably I'd like on with Bluetooth streaming.

I go hard tbh
Props. Those things last forever. I've got mine sitting outside on porch exposed to heat, cold, dust, whatever. But during the summer, it still cranks out the sound when we're in the pool.
This one is pretty good..tried it at stores, it packs a punch. No bluetooth though..

Haven't heard this one, but I'm assuming the same quality but louder. More expensive, but this one does have bluetooth.

Too much of a beast for my needs. Would've take it as a gift though.
Yeah, it was a staple on any summertime BBQs. Can't beat that bass tbh.
Thanks. The first link looked promising, except I would prefer BT than iPod dock. So many older systems have that iPod dock, and its even obsolete (reason I hate proprietary formats)

I'm looking for something similar, miss having music in my room at night since i moved (had 2 nice old bose speakers and my college kenwood receiver). Let us know what you end up with. I am not looking for anyhing super loud, but something i can take in the backyard if nothing else.
What about some bookshelf speakers and a receiver? The KRK Rokit 5's are what I use, they're the .
Do you walk around with it on your shoulders?
I use this system in my room, so a receiver would probably be too much (in terms of need and $$). And if i can get a system that plays CDs, all the better. But maybe I'll find a small and reasonable HTiB system, I'll let you know
Nah contrary to BB's post, I ain't Radio Raheeming it.
This is my receiver..Highly recommended for music lovers..

How does one get feedback from a portable stereo?
Not feedback really, simply a buzzing/humming sound from the speakers. It also distorted the sound and cracks up when there's more bass.
just get the bose sound dock.
I considered that, I've always read they were horribly overpriced, tbh. And I'd rather have something that plays CDs than has an iPhone/proprietary dock.
pretty expensive, but they sound great.
I was thinking about the Sonos surround system that goes all over the house. You can play isolated music for each room. Thought that was pretty cool. Expensive though.
This one is beastly tbh. I'm liking it more and more - Bluetooth, NFC, CD, USB, and no dock.
Didn't want to drop $500 on this mother er but if I can find it in Canada I'll probably pull the trigger. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere, like wtf? I went hunting last night and every A/V store had those weak-ass systems with old iPod docks.
This might be the model a step down.. 198.00
