Bonner's replacement.
So maybe were waiting on a Bonner trade to open up playing thomas
Bonner's replacement.
Can we package Thomas in a trade? or is there a rule against it?
Maybe the Spurs are thinking of using him as a kicker...idk...
No. There is a waiting period after signing a player that will expire for Thomas AFTER the February trade deadline. Spurs cannot trade him until this summer at the earliest.
Ok Thxs.
Another reason he will play soon,I assume.
I really, really hope he can defend the perimeter. He really does look like a guard on the court. If he's got good foot-speed, that will be a boon to anything we might expect him to do as a Spur. I love a good 6'9 SF/wing.
Kawhi had never played SF in college, either. He was an athletic PF in the NCAA.
I'm sure about Thomas never played SF in college but not about Kawhi. Remember the games vs BYU especially the last game for the 2011 Mountain West Championship. I think Leonard played SF a lot of minutes.
(Starting line was PJ Gay, Chase Tapley, Billy White, Leonard and Thomas but Kawhi was kind of a hybrid between SF and PF)
He should play against Dallas tomorrow...
this.
glad to hear he's sticking around.
Would be funny if he got more minutes than Baynes
THIS would be funny
Probably gonna get more minutes than Kawhi, tbh...
FSSW postgame "Uhh prolly not me" Leonard said referring to the back to back and it's effect on him, but Pop'll sit him half game tomorrow or play only 20 minutes bc...
Well I don't know why the kid doesn't play more, he hasn't had problems with his knee this season.
Probably because his minutes have been monitored. Connect the dots.
Kawhi is playing the exact same MPG this year as he was in last season's opening stretch before he sat out with the knee issues. And after his first 6 games back in DEC he played more per game, up to about 5 minutes a game more. Don't see the dots connecting, tbh.
