Well if they don't care then they will lose seeding. They had a W in the 82 game season secure and they find a way to send it to OT. They play tomorrow right? Not very good to let this one go to OT....
They don't take opponents seriously. It's January. They might lose seeding right now, but history shows they'll make it up in on the RRT. They won, no one will give a about this game in 3 days. If anything, Pop uses it for training material.

LOL You took it the wrong way. I wasn't saying you were talking when you posted just now. I said I feel like people from other teams wait the entire game, before saying anything. Then I said "just waiting to talk ". That's based off of what I've seen from other fans on here. When the Spurs lose they flock to talk .

Again, I never said you were talking . If anyone is being sensitive, it's you. Take a chill pill, homie. I wasn't accusing you of anything. I guess when you spend more time in the "sewers", you just used to assuming that people are accusing you of things.
My fault maybe read too much in to it. And you are right the sewers may have raised my guard up ...
For those that haven't seen me post much:

I Love Pop, Manu and Tim.
I do rank Kobe over Duncan (just barely) all-time
I do rank Duncan over Shaq
Was shocked that Pop sat Duncan with #5 so close.
By no means a Spur fan but respect the high level of play by your team.
Grew up in Cali and live in SA for 3 years, north of Stone Oak ...

I used to coach HS hoops and admire Pop's playbook. So when I post up here it's not as a hater but out of respect.

You drag the game out you risk injury and you also cause fatigue to the older guys, January or NOT you close out a game you have won and take it. They nearly blew a game they had, no excuse to blow that big of a lead and lose focus when you are a vet team who just lost in the finals by blowing a lead. They lack focus.

Sorry to hear. I have a much older cousin on life support (just found out today) so I understand. Glad you got a chance to get away from it for a while with a Spurs win ...
Thanks man, you're a good dude. It's silly, but the Spurs winning such a tough game made the day a little better. Sports are pretty incredible like that. I made sure to get some exercise in too just so I wouldn't be too physically amped to sleep tonight.

Thanks to everyone else as well. I still want to do the grades, reading/writing has to be the most soothing activity I know of.

How is Courtney Lee able to suit up hours after he get traded? Not like I want Memphis to be even more shorthanded.

Looks like stat geek Hollinger is starting to get something out of his favorite Jon Leur.

This why I don't understand what they doing with Thomas? Johnson for the Grizzles is a similar player as Thomas and also is a product of the D-League. Johnson was a handful tonight. He wasn't a superstar but he did a lil bit of everything. I'm sure with time Thomas can be a similar player in the NBA.

I always check them out (your grades) but don't always post in the thread ...
Since my team sucks and the forum downstairs and LG is full of s I may hang out here a bit more.

Thomas is probably a scrub but anything has to be better than Ayres right now. Jeff can't even catch the ing ball. It's gotten to the point where teams don't even have to put a man on him because they know he'll fumble the pass or miss the wide open look.

Spurs have been pathetic as of late. Should have lost this one honestly. Would put emphasis of the true nature of the Spurs team a la 2011. Almost lost to the worst team in the division.

Hmmm. Lakers game was going on same time as this one ..which one should I care about more?
I saw the last few minutes on NBATV and thought I would mention what a great job Pop did of calling a play with counters ...don't see how that is talking "crap". I love Pop my favorite coach in the NBA right now.

But I forget how sensitive some fans are up here.
I thought since the sewers of the forum has such lil real basketball talk I would post here a bit more ...but it sounds like it's the same different zip code.
It's incredible how over the past year SpursTalk has just become a massive cesspool. I mean, it's been this way a while in other forums but in the past upstairs usually stayed sheltered from stuff like that. No idea what happened to make it like it is now. It's pretty sad, though.

No one wants to see them anyways.
Such a nice response. Really, thank you for the human decency.

Grizz have been rattled by injuries and we didn't have our starting center in a tough environment in January. If we win it is gravy and we go on to the next game. Just hope Manu isn't injured.

ignore him. Folks on here do enjoy it. And if it helps you relax a bit all the better. And the I think the founders absence has changed things around here I would have to agree.

Sorry for your loss, man. And I think he meant it as in the Spurs were pretty much terrible at the end there so that's why we don't wanna see them. At least that's what I think he meant.

YES!! Marco with the ing air ball. I hope he cries himself to sleep tonight, over that. Even if they do win...I hope he cries like a .
Marco crapped the bed at the end of regulation w/ the early airball three and the turnover at the end of regulation and was not seen again

This James Johnson car you know much about him? I think a Bulls drafted him and he's been in the D-League?
