Lebron was born in the right time, he literally he almost 0 compe ion in todays league. It's like Floyd Mayweather minus having Pacquaio in the sport.
It's a given that the Pacers and Heat will get to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Unless a miracle happens, we are going to see two sweeps in the 2nd round. We could see ty teams like the Bobcats, Raptors, Hawks, or Wizards go up against the Heat and Pacers in the 2nd round. We might only see 1 good series in the East and it will only happen if the Pacers and Heat meet in the ECF. The product that the NBA is putting out on the court is a joke.

Our only hope is for a catastrophic injury to LeRoid to happen but as others have pointed out the HGH will almost certainly prevent that from occurring.
same with shaq once David and Hakeem were crippled.
is the EC playoffs ever as good though? i can think of a handful of series from the past decade that were worth watching. This year though looks to be the absolute nadir. Just skip til the EC Finals with Pacers vs Heat.
Yeah but the Lakers had enormous compe ion in the Western Conference those years they won during the 3peat and more so during the 08-10 run. Everythign was a ing struggle in that stacked league. Lebron is playing high school level teams before he makes it to the ECF every year.
I like how people just forget about the level of compe ion of the East in every corner of the internet. I wonder if this is how the Internet forums would be in the 90's with a real alpha like Jordan.
Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Wichita State, or UConn would probably sweep the Raptors, Wizards, Hawks, Bobcats, in a best of 7 series. That's how bad the East is. Just complete .
The average sports fan today is especially re ed...especially. People seriously think Floyd Mayweather has fought everybody and cleaned out the sport. That ducked everybody
Toronto is starting to click tbh..They're obviously not at the same level as Indiana but their roster is meant to give Indian problems tbh.
I think we'll see at least 3 existing series in the east..
The Heat and Pacers will probably be the only teams in the East that win at least 45 games, CROFL. There will probably 8 to 10 teams in the West that win at least 45 games this year.
Kirby's like Pac, Lebron(Floyd) managed to duck him when Kirby was somewhat still in his prime (08-10 Finals) and when Kirby became TOSB Lebron is now winning rings and has 0 compe ion coming out of the West
just good timing, imo.
LOL No... NBA teams would kill college teams especially since they'd be motivated to beat a bunch of kids
The East has been lackluster for the past 3 or so years.
Cant remember a good series that sticks out in recent memory.
Heat-Pacers have been good for 2 years in a row. Celtics were up 3-2 on the Heat in 2012 before LeBron's ridiculous games 6 and 7. Heat-Celtics in 2011 was good too. Bulls-Celtics in 2009 was one of the best playoff series in recent memory tbh.
Miami has a lot more difficulty against the East than they do against the West, tbh..Miami's record against the West the past 2 seasons is ridiculous..
Everybody has already forgotten how the West only had 1 contender from 2008 to 2010..Carmelo's Nuggets, the 2010 Suns and Aaron Brooks' Rockets were the Lakers' compe ion..
True.. it's amazing how in 08 and 10, all 8 Western playoff teams had 50+ wins, and yet the Lakers were the clear favorites year in and year out.
tbh
mayweather might go down as the best boxer of all time, is so fundemantally sound its sick, his defense is second to none, boxing is in slo mo for money mayweather..
The best two series of the last 3 years have been the 2011 Finals and the 2013 Finals. Games 6 and 7 saved the 2013 Finals from being one of the worst Finals in NBA history. 2011 was awesome because my Mavs spanked Le , STD T-Mobile , Raptor, and the Heat's ass.
Most people dont know about boxing
'East playoffs sucks' yet the winner will come from the East. The ECF alone is better then the West playoffs in total![]()
at least the eastern conference finals won't be a sweep, since the Heat and Pacers are almost evenly matched, 55-45 in slight favor of the Heat imho.
Truth nukes.
Miami against the West in 2012-13: 25-5
Miami against West in 2013-14: 11-2
This year the Heat and Pacers have better winning % against he West than the East. The East is ing garbage, but the West just looks better in comparison. In truth, the Heat, Pacers, Spurs and Thunder (healthy) are the only real teams in the NBA![]()
Heat's ridiculous records against western teams the past seasons didn't have as much to do with their dominance as with the western teams' reluctance to go all out against them imho. Western teams always deal with tougher compe ion within their own conference than the eastern teams do, so it doesn't make much sense for western teams to fight that hard against a team that they know they ain't gonna face unless they end up coming out of the west. Matches against same-conference/division rivals are always the top priorities imho
I love how people orgasm over the Heat's misleading record against the Heat. I want to see how Le and them would do when they would be playing the teams in the West 3 or 4 times a season. I don't think their record would be that great.
