This is going to be an interesting recruitment going forward. Going to be a tough get for everyone. I hope A&M can somehow land Kenny Young because I wouldn't hold my breath on Alaka and we desperately need LB help.

FWIW, 24/7 mentioned last night Texas has a lot of work to do to keep Alaka.

Most people think that Tom Herman from Ohio State is the next OC. He was a GA from '98 to '99 at Texas.

I was hoping Suddes would remain.

I think he's the main reason Texas had any recruiting momentum at all last year.

I was thinking Suddes, Wyatt, and Porter would have been retained. Those 3 were probably the best personnel that the team had last year. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Update on DT Chris Nelson of Lakeland, FL from 24/7...he will be flying in on the 24th with both of his parents and will stay the weekend. He's "very excited" about the trip and says he would have to just hate something about UT for him not to flip his commitment. He also mentioned he wants DT Poona Ford to join him and he likes the depth chart currently.
