I don't see anything about special Game 6 that would make that the deciding factor, he was basically left open for that 3 by the Spurs. Still shocking that even happened
It's close, but still pick Ray for that quick release.

Oh yes, he had 0 pressure to make the shot down 3 with only seconds left, his team was about to get eliminated and Parker got to him as soon as he caught the ball

No one said he had zero pressure. I'm just saying it's not something Miller couldn't have made so I wouldn't separate them based on that.
But@ Parker being there as soon as he got the ball. Ray was already going up - a late rotating defender doesn't affect a shooter that much, especially one like Ray. He's made harder game winner shots.
give me a more high pressure shot then 3 down in the finals elimination game with 5 sec left.
Horry in Game 5 of the 2005 Finals was close. But what does that have to do with anything I said?
the question was Who would you want to shoot with the game on the line?
so the timing of the shot matters not the difficulty so who would you rather have the shot taken
a guy who proved to hit one of the hardest shots ever (Timing wise) or the other
Both Clutch shooters btw
Ray's shot is underrated yes he was left open, Mamu fell
But he had the presence of mind to get his feet behind the line and release while the contest was coming late.
Imho when it comes to all-time great Playoffs shots: (no particular order just off the dome)
1. Ray, 6
2. Mj over russell
3. Horry vs.Kings
4. Horry vs. Pistons
5. Mj over Ehlo
6. .4
7. Sean Elliott
8. Miller vs. Bulls ECF
9. Stockton over Rox (IIRC)
10. Chuck over David
There are so many but those are the iconic jumpers ...
Special mention to Magic's baby skyhook over the Celts in 1987 not a jumper but bonus for hitting over two near 7 footers ...
Tbh that Timmy fadeaway over shaq before .4 was one of the greatest playoff shots I've ever seen. How many players have made a long fadeaway off the wrong foot with a 7-footer who weighs over 300 pounds towering over them in the last second of a playoff game? God damn if he had just released .1-.2 seconds later...
