The experience is supposed to be watching a movie.
The only people that should stay at home are the ones that cannnot adhere to the rules of the establishment.
The experience is supposed to be watching a movie.
Also, the fact that you said you would leave if someone complained and a manager asked just illustrates the fact you know you did something wrong. Furthermore, the fact you say "luckily" no one has complained about your actions also shows you know you did something wrong and were fortunate not to suffer the consequences.
No sir. Me not catering to irritable (and probably miserable) people =/= me being irritated.
Simple. Stay home and text all you want.
No, you can't make the jump to say someone that complains is angered and then say you aren't upset about those you repeatedly disagree with and claim they have a stick up their ass.
By your logic, people aren't miserable or irritable because they complain about you breaking the rules. They simply are not catering to those who break the rules and think no one will complain about it.
So... the people who want to go to the theater to do the thing it was built for should avoid it so that all the other people can go there and be assholes?
People break the rules everywhere you go, deal with it. If you don't like it, stay home. You people seem to have a problem with society and people in general. Build your own private cinema if you don't like people using their phones while a movie is playing. Same applies to every other establishment.
Hey, if you pay money and want to follow the rules, stay home. I'm here to do what I want and not only ignore the explicit rules of the establishment, but generally ignore common decency.
Those people get kicked out. They have the right to complain when you break the rules. Just because you could break the rules, ruin the movie and get kicked out, doesn't mean you should.
It is none of your business whether they get their money's worth or not. It's pretty sad that something like that would ruin your own experience. It's a theater for everyone not just movie enthusiasts tbh.
I'm going to have my dog on your lawn every day. Hey, what kind of loser gets mad a just a little on their lawn. My dog doesn't bark and wake you up and you can easily walk around the to avoid stepping in it or just pick the up in like 5 seconds, so what is the big deal?
I mean, I don't care if you neighborhood has rules against picking up after pets, if you don't like it, don't own the house or move.
You may have to reevaluate your life if you consider someone texting while at a movie theater to be an asshole.
It's a theater for everyone who follows the theater's rules.
Could we not say the same about you that you think someone who complains about you breaking the very clear rules of the establishment are a-holes or miserable?
Few people get kicked out. Most people couldnt care less about silent texting, unfortunatelyall it takes is a couple of irritable people like you and Chump to complain for the establishment to make it a 'rule'.
Of course not. But it's very much my business that I get my money's worth.
So then they question remains: with all of the other things to do for entertainment, and all of the other ways to casually (not enthusiastically) watch films, why do non-enthusiasts even bother anymore? And I don't actually mean that from a place of snobbery. I'm genuinely curious the appeal of a movie theater if you don't really care about movies.
Like I said, deal with it. In this case I would shoot your dog and deliver it to your front door personally. That's how I would deal with it.
Yeah because a theater isn't just for watching movies...you ing dumbass![]()
Nope. Plenty of the people don't follow them and the large majority of people aren't bothered by it.
Yeah and like I said it's sad if them not getting their money's worth causes you to feel like you aren't getting yours. Why focus do much and put so much importance on that glow?
Its entirely possible for someone to like a certain movie without being some serious movie critic wanna-be tbh.
You can watch a movie without taking it as 'seriously' as CF, scrub.
It's for people who don't text.
Explicitly so.
Link? I am sure, although you can't see past your ignorance, that more people than not have an issue with it. It's why there are rules by the theaters. If the majority of the customers didn't care, they wouldn't alienate them by making it a rule and enforcing it by kicking them out.
