The jazz should have traded Jefferson and/or Millsap and not let them walk. They knew they had 4 decent rotation bigs and couldnt pay them all. Could have got someone decent for them or picks at least

We're so lucky Burke played like . Luck is all a Spurs fan ever needed. Luck that we hit the lotto for David, luck we hit it again for Timmy, luck Westbrick went down last year, luck Cleveland could never form a team around Lebron in 2007, luck Robby Horry didn't get called for knocking Steve Nash into the bleachers in 2005...

We have destiny on our side and tonight is only more evidence.

The Spurs shot at least 50% for the 6th consecutive game, the 1st time since the 92-93 season when they did it in 13 straight contests.

Every bone in my body wants to just dislike Jeff Ayres but I just can't help but like his spirit, guy is humble and is playing well just needs to show up on defense. He's active just not really strong bodying people up or getting up to block shots.

I agree. I love his energy. He is improving, nice to see the early season minutes finally starting to payoff. Bobbling the ball less, finishing strong. He is still rail thin and can't protect the rim but he generally does a good job on the glass. For 10-15 minutes he is becoming a decent option.

I'd love to see some lobs getting mixed into our offense. Hopefully that turns into a good weapon for Ayres.

Ayres seems like a cool dude, glad to see he is getting adjusted.

"Ayres joked he never knew hands were so bad before joining Spurs: "I never had to worry about anybody passing me the ball in my NBA career."

how about before the NBA? catching a ball ain't exactly an optional skill for any player at any level

i consider him the worst pg in the league. Basically i laugh at you every time you come here, how can you say this guy is any good when tony wasn't even trying and was still able to get to the rim at will.. shooting sub .400 isn't talent.
