He did act like it was a play stoppage after his dunk though, lingering a bit out of bounds like he was going to trot back. Pop let him know about it.
He didn't it up. His guy got ahead of him but Pop had Matt ing Bonner guarding the paint and Matt left Kanter to stop the ball (which he didn't).
You have to consider the energy exerted to run the floor, go behind the back, then dunk the ball..You don't just land and turn a 360 and run like mad dog. He probably was out of breath.

I don't watch a lot of Spurs games but I watched this one, he paused a bit after his dunk looking at the crowd or something and was not quick enough to recover. He was clearly surprised by the quick inbound not focused on the transition. Apparently Pop saw the same, he seemed to be pissed.

It does seem quirky how the refs will hold the ball at times before allowing players to inbound the ball, and at other times they'll call a delay of game if another player just touches the ball after it goes through the hoop.
