Inside Texas said Watson stopped by Abilene Cooper today and spoke with Joe's father, so things seem to be all good now.

24/7 saying Joe Wickline (new OL coach) did make his visit with OL Demetrius Knox.

No reviews on the visit yet but their source claimed Knox may take a trip to UT as a result.

This kid comes from a really tough background and he's going to bust his ass for the program. Awesome.

He had shown a great deal of improvement imo as had Espinosa. Edmond was really lost the first 3 or 4 games. He was incessantly filling the wrong gap. Later on, he is reading the QBs eyes and knocking balls down or guessing correctly on short routes over the middle and jumping them.

And now it appears to have taken another step up. Both these guys are big and have some speed. I'm expecting good stuff. Edmunds has a big stake in doing well. Hope his viscera stay intact.

Steve Edmond was Muschamps #1 priority over any player in the country when he recruited him. Poor guy got Manny Diaz to coach him.

honestly i can't believe those rules shock recruits. they don't realize those type of rules make them better as players and increase their potential to be drafted - and not be cut.

most nfl teams have very similar atmospheres where they are expected to be professionals. that's why coddling in the program forfeited so much out of the UT program (with exceptions of course).

You can't believe that 17-18 year olds are turned off by the idea of being disciplined and forced to grow up?

    no that's true. that's why i didn't go to a&m.

i'm saying they shouldn't be surprised that a team is a team and should operate as a unit.

Having to live on campus was something that turned me off about Tech. Looking back, I wish I had lived on campus. Obviously if they looked at this situation like adults then they would see the benefit. Some of these kids are going to cliff jump though - which Strong certainly expects.
