Because it won't happen.......
Spencer Hawes for Bonner
Because it won't happen.......
Any chance we can package Kobe to San Antonio for some picks? Make it happen Mitch
Bruno, I for one applaud your efforts to clean up this forum, but more drastic action needs to be taken IMHO.
You're doing this moderating all on your own it seems, but can't be everywhere at the same time. You need some help in the worst way!
Cant some others be appointed to help you?
It would sure make this forum a lot better, and the other forums on this site need it even more because the trollish juvenile ignorant bigoted behavior has gotten totally out of control!!!!!!!!!!!
There needs to be a "balance" in moderating, too much leads to SpursReport, but too little leads to this chaos and makes a travesty out of this whole site IMHO.
No decent mature intelligent poster likes coming here anymore, it has gone down hill and the inmates are running the asylum now a days.
People are referring to this site as "The Troll Forum" now in the same way they refer to SpursReport as the over moderated site, these two have become polar opposites!

i wouldnt even give ya deculo for dat bum tbh
I think part of the problem is that while Bruno's intentions are good, and his English is impeccable, it is still a secondary language, which makes it difficult to pick up on pure trolls like mute, who should have been pinked, or even banned months ago. Locking threads really does nothing to trolls. Persistence is their watchword. They'll just start another one as long as you let them have that ability.
Its possible. Zach Lowe mentioned the Pacers might have to pawn off Scola to resign Stephenson and stay under the luxury tax. They don't have to do it by the deal line. They could wait to the draft and trade for an expiring contract.
You can't trade a 2014 expiring at draft time. They have to be traded by the deadline.
Yeah, but they can trade him for a dust-chip player like Keith Bogans.
I guess, unless his option has to be picked up before then.
It's not an option issue. It's non-guaranteed with no deadline.
Maybe, but he is not going to be a Spurs IMO.
I agree, I'd be really surprised if he was.
Spurs aggressively looking to trade = 23 pages and no trade activity
Apparently their "aggression" was pretty passive.
I think the Spurs would take Scola in a heartbeat as long as he was fine with just being a role player. He and Manu are still besties and Pop respects productive players which Scola has been through his NBA career. Scola doesn't rely on athleticism or hops, just his footwork, shooting touch and high bbiq so his career should extend through whatever next team he plays on.
I'd take him on the spurs all day, every day as long as we weren't breaking the bank...
That's what he is in Indiana & I've not heard of any complaints from him.
CIA Pop, don't ya know....
Nothing ever was going to happen or it could have been minor as far as a trade went, but most likely nothing.
I am still shocked after all these years Spurs fans still entertain this kind of stuff or even let it go 23 pages. I just sit back and if something happens it does, rumors are plenty during the year and really nothing interesting happens 99% of the time. I will sit back and relax and watch the season with the team we have because it is what they are likely going to roll with.
This. I've only been major fan since the 08-09 season, and I've given up on buying any "Trade Rumors" since 2011 lol
If a trade happen it will be likely just before he trade deadline.
So, all the talks about Spurs doing nothing and this rumor being BS is premature.
Wait and see.
We're just under a month away.
This trade will definitely inflate on the day of the deadline.
A trade will happen when/if it happens and not a moment sooner.
I just don't care for being anticipated anymore. From Spurs wanting Miller, to Salmons, to Collison, to Varejao, to Tyrus Thomas, to Paul George, to Okafor, to Al Jefferson, to Mason being traded, to Blair being traded, etc.
even signings have been flat. Corey Brewer, Andray Blatche, Josh Howard, Gustavo Ayon..
However, all of the moves they DID pull (Hill for Leonard, RJ for Jax, signing Diaw) took me off-guard.
I'm not saying "Spurs always miss out" Because well, every team 'misses out'
I'm just saying it seems weird to get so invested in a rumor when we've been let down time and time again.
