The Heat's defense has fallen off quite a bit this year, imho.... is it just coasting or have other teams figured out Spo's system?
Mostly coasting but the fact of the matter is that team is older than last year and pretty unathletic outside the Big 3/Beasley.

The Heat rely on spacing and shot-making. Nobody could throw a fish in the ocean today. The biggest weakness on defense for Miami was also glaringly on display. They're just too small in the front-court right now.

Still not buying Blazers as 100% legit ...
But if they sweep Texas maybe only Pacers, heat and a healthy OKC/Clips are capable of pulling that off.

Coasting even the great Lebron's defensive ratings are down.
I don't think it's a huge issue. But I do think Lebron's focus on that end is overrated. I don't blame him how many stars have as much responsibility as James? But when folks try and say well he is the MVP over Durant because he plays both ends I think Durant has narrowed that gap some. Because only plays elite defense in spots (MJ did the same and of course Kobe takes huge stretches off) and Durant has improved quite a bit on defense.

Back to this game Not impressed with Blazers defense isn't Batum supposed to be lockdown defender?

Portland is one of the few teams Houston can beat in a 7-game series tbh. The other one happens to be SA and if things stay the way they are, Houston will prolly get them in the second round...

I agree. Portland could be easy work for a team like Memphis (f they get their together) or Rockets. Blazers a jumpshooting team with iffy defense.

ALways weird to see Wes Matthews revert back to a regular NBA talent against another team rather than the second coming of Jordan when he plays the Spurs tbh.

Even if they lose impressive road trip for Blazers.
Still think they are fool's gold but glad to see Aldridge and Lilard play well.

Don't see the Rockets shooting 80% from three all game, they'll cool off and the Guests can still make it a game, tbh....
