Well, if it surprised you, it's because you haven't read enough ST. A lot of the moves Spurs have done have been predicted/deduced by posters here. And it wasn't just by some luck.
This too shall pass.

I called the Aron Baynes signing![]()
Yes but for every good one you get you get 100 others of well can we do this trade with some trade machine that they dreamt up at home or in their sleep at night or on a video game and that takes up half the thread. I agree some are very legit in here and some good sources and maybe a prediction (Some have inside INFO), that part is true for the most part but most of the speculation and can we do this or that trade for whoever they want is funny at times.
I guess wait and sit back and see and just play it by year, no need to get built up or listen to rumors until like you said it's around the deadline when they are more likely to make a move as opposed to now.
Not really, this thread is pretty much in line with what is realistic to do for Spurs at the trade deadline. There are for sure some wild dream but it's a minority.
What is reallyin this thread is the smart-asses that came here and say things like "look 23 pages". If you don't like this thread, nobody forces you to click on it and if there weren't at, every page, someone saying "look X pages", this thread wouldn't be 23 pages long.
Wow almost 24 pages of nothing.
Lol aggressively.
24 pages is more an indication of how boring the FO is than anything
Thank you. And like the amount of pages on here is indicative of what the Spurs are doing behind the scenes.
Nobody knows what they are doing behind the scenes though or what they are not doing, maybe they make a trade or maybe one falls through or on and on. Time will tell and the thread will live on to see many more days until the deadline passes. I guess it makes it interesting to speculate but who knows really?
If the thread goes on after the deadline and someone still saying hey maybe we can do this or they should have done this for such and such then it's time to worry about peopleI can see it now, hey maybe we should trade for or what do you guys think about such and such after deadline.
I really appreciate these kind of threads. Although most are filled with self-fulfilling delusional excitement; as a Spurs fan, they're still fun to read, though.
Carry on.
If you guys haven't figured anything out yet...if a Spurs trade is talked about, it doesn't happen. It's when you don't hear anything that something just pops up.
The Spurs aren't going to do any trade if they can't get value for what they're giving up. That makes it all the more likely that they wait until the end when teams that want or need to move an asset are more willing to do it.
Even so, Dunleavy is reportedly available. Wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs end up pursuing him.
Agreed... no one knows, but I find it hard to believe if there is a deal that makes them better and gives them another chance to get TD/Co. another ring, they wouldn't jump on it. The other side of it is finding someone who isn't a total headcase and would fit in not only their system on the court, but be a good fit in the locker room. I can't imagine in today's NBA that that is an easy thing to do.
The fact there is talks this early is a little odd (at least from what I remember) it seems you hear more near the deadline and especially in the off season when it comes to signing free agents and stuff.
Dunleavey can suck an 80 year old .
I've deleted posts.
Next time that someone come up with BS news, I won't be that kind.
Chill man
I'm sure majority thought it was a troll post. The last two pages has been nothing but fighting.
Bruno, you're taking this waaaaay too personally. Anybody that's been around here for any length of time knows you're nearly obsessive-compulsive (and I say this as a praise to your dedication to the matter) when it comes to trying to figure out what the FO will do next. The "Think Thank" sub-forum is nothing but a reflection of that, so I'm not surprised you find any criticism highly offensive.
Personally, I've been around these forums long enough and I'm going to disagree that this forum was ever largely spot-on on predicting FO moves (including the draft) with any precision. If we're talking about throwing all sorts of crap at the wall, then looking at what stuck once the moves are made, okay.
But what you need to realize is that if there's any mockery, it isn't on the trade talk, but on the "aggressively" rumor angle. After all, we have a full subforum, an "official" trade thread and then this thread, and this is the only one getting some slack.
IMO, anyways.
dunleavey would be alot like da beli sign tbh n both team playerz
Nope, I'm not. I just find it lame and y to see posters, who contributes nothing to this board, coming to criticize. It's like posters saying that ST was better years ago.
Truth is this forum is as good as what people post here. If some posters would spend their time to contribute instead of whining/trolling/criticizing, this place would certainly be better.
I'm in no mood to chill when it comes to you. You're such a terrible poster.
Bruno - if you simply pink Koolaid man, your life and this forum would be better. What do you say?
