ST is entering in a awkward zone.
Difficult to not find a racist thread in every sub forum first page starting with nfl and club, it is starting to be nauseous. I like ST, the freedom of speech, the the politically correct, the if you are too sensitive to handle go somewhere else, the trolling etc... but we are now all over the top. Trolling is what makes ST fun but some posts, threads, avatar... are starting to let an awkward taste in the mouth... trying to get butt hurt reactions over it is the game but at one point the overview you get from that is yeah awkward.
I surprise myself to post some racist stuff for fun about blacks or jews or gay or whatever, it is meant to be humorous and 90% of ST posters take it that way and again american politically correct BS having a place where you can denounce it is great... Point is, the sum of these posts, threads, avatars.. give a feeling of nazi forums sometimes and it's starting to bother me. BTW it is both way white, blacks...
Not sure I'm clear but at the end I believe we all should start to be careful with all that... xmas said we are known for being the troll forum, I, for one, would dislike for being known as the nazi racist forum. And I'm sure this is not what Kori and LJ would want for the forum they created and are still financing. If not for us, let's low key a bit for them.

Every now and then one of these threads pop up. And every time single time I don't understand the outrage (except for once). It's just an accurate representation of things on a macro level (IMO). Most people contribute in a menial sense, whereas major breakthroughs come from a minority of people. Although, this place exists for different reasons for different groups of people. Some may want something more meaningful, others may want entertainment, and some may want a combination of the two, or something else entirely different.
If everyone was in lock step, it would likely be significantly more boring. In the end, stop taking it so seriously.
