Oldest 6moty?
He needs to redeem himself in the playoffs, I don't give a about what he's doing in the reg season. But anyways. Congrats.
Not sure where to find stats on this award. Would he be the first player to receive it twice?
EDIT: Just checked Wikipedia: Kevin McHale (!), Ricky Pierce and Detlef Schrempf received it twice. Bill Walton and Kevin McHale are the only HoF inductees to have received it. Manu will certainly be the 3rd. The 4th is most probably James Harden.
I think Manu is harder on himself than any of us. So I'm sure his play in game 6 last year killed him.
I think he's on a quest of redemption, hence his spectacular play this year. Hopefully it continues!
its january and people are saying manu needs to play well in the playoffs. he can't jump to the future. give him his props for what he is doing now. we can only worry about the playoffs once they begin
Right when I saw your post I knew it had something to do with deflecting your horrible prediction of him being done.
like someone else said, Manu can only redeem himself in a West Finals or NBA Finals. Any other game is not good enough for him to redeem the Championship he cost us
That's fine, but it doesn't change your horrible prediction of him being done.
it wasn't a prediction. He is done. Nobody is not done and posts 8 turnovers in a finals clincher. Until he proves otherwise in a Finals, the verdict stays. He's done.
Clearly done. Btw, just to inform you.. Ginobili is averaging over double the amount of assists any other bench player has this year. He also is one of 12 players all time with a 20 PER or better ever at age 35 or above.
But he's done, right?

right. Game 6 proved he's done as far as competing for championships. Sure, he could redeem himself in the playoffs, but only then.
Marco 6th overall on the list, not too shabby either considering how much he's making vs. some others on that list (Evans, Gibson, Lin, etc.)
Tim had his masterpiece in 2003.
TP had his masterpiece in 2007
Manu should have had his masterpiece in 2011. Now is the time to make up for it in 2014. Hes looking amazing.
Nice to hear that, Im not following other teams 6thman in stats and that stuff but if he is leading comfortably then I didnt miss too much.
I'm with everyone who says, "nice but please also do this in the playoffs when it matters most". I don't think it's an unfair take, nor does it mean I think he's done since he's had some really solid games this year. I just want him to do well when we actually need it.
Looks healthy right now but it's mid season. I hope he can last this time.
Right, because we don't actually need Manu right now. LMAO.
Wait... now you guys care what ESPN says?
It's always nice to see a major news network support your team. Especially when they on him the entire playoffs.
Hope it comes to pass. It would be sweet!![]()
