With fingers that long and hands that big I am surprised it didn't happen sooner.

Joseph should start at the two for the foreseeable future.
So, the Spurs are going to play four on five to start the game.

Can't unless we make a move to free up a roster spot.
Dump De Colo or Baynes for a protected second (inside top 59) or option to swap picks. Send along some cash to pay their salary or part of it.

    Who cares about kawhi..

He was on h is way to another 2-4 shooting..

Good luck winning the championship with unmotivated pissed of Kawhi spurs and the usual PnR tony and Duncan which we know never works enough to get you into the second round nowadys considering every team now has a decent long defender to ( Parker's kryptonite) stop parker.

    Not watching this game.......

These guys are absolutely snake bit right now. Ridiculous. The only good news is KL won't get worn down late in the season with too many minutes, but these injuries are going to insure the Spurs won't have a top 2 seed in the WC. Hopefully they can stack enough wins together to stay in the top four. It's going to get very tough to do this now.

What is it know? Four games, four significant injuries. No team can withstand this volume of injuries.

Welp, hope he comes back in a month. We can forget about beating the Heat on Sunday, though, whether they play Wade or not.

Just makes the offseason signings look even worse. We needed a backup SF but never signed one. We needed a half-decent 4th big, and we signed Ayres who hasn't looked impressive at all in Splitter's absence. This is why the Spurs have never repeated or made back-to-back Finals trips. They stand pat after every Finals instead of constantly trying to improve the team. Playing it safe never wins you a 'ship.

Well maybe this forces us to bring in somebody new to pick up play Kawhi's spot. Surely pop doesn't think Cory Joseph can play anything but PG.

I think Ayres has played some good ball, but he's being asked to do too much. He's a borderline backup PF and he's being thrown into the starter role.

Marco Belinelli and Cory Joseph should never be asked to guard Kevin Durant. It is baffling that we are halfway through this season and have yet to sign a backup SF.

Kawhi can come back in a month, or come back never. He'll get the same amount of looks and wasted oppotunities either way.

The Bench Braniacs wouldn't even know he was on the team if nobody reminded them.

The new SF could be Joseph or Nando, it doesn't matter anyway.

The went for it in the 2005 off season. Maybe they didn't like the results after chasing Finley and Van Exel to do it again since then? I really do agree with what you said though. Apart from that one season, Spurs always seem to go with modest moves after making the finals. It's always the wrong move IMO. You gotta go for upgrades.

Pop cant get away with using Joseph-Mills-Belinelli-Bonner-Ayres lineups. He also cant be having guys like Joseph guard Durant. He's just asking to lose. Better do something quick, sign someone, make a trade...because that isnt going to cut it.

Spurs games are gonna be ugly for a while. They're going to have to win with offense cause the defense won't be there at all.

Hopefully Splitter is on his way back already.

Bah, Cojo is the new SF he earned it, maybe Thomas can fill the PG hole.

Would Thomas be quick enough to guard big SF's like Durant and LBJ?

Splitter stubbed his toe, he's out for the season.. Okay, not very funny but it's become a joke of a season

Joseph should start at the two for the foreseeable future. But who at the three? I'd say Manu. Bring Beli and Mills off the bench, and give Thomas a shot at SF.

    Bonner for Mbah a Moute.

    And get Green a club.
Mbah a Moute can't shoot at all. More like, Bonner and De Colo for Marvin Williams. If a 2nd or something minor has to be thrown in, so be it.

They got exactly what they deserved. Refused to address a blatant weakness and one that was exacerbated by the fact that it involved defending the two players standing between them and a championship.

They were already going to blow it, but this pretty much seals any chance of holding off the Thunder for the one seed and that seals whatever minute chance they had at beating them in a series.
