Though he did come back, tail-tucked, hat-in-hand to Kobe lookin' for a hand-down. & to his credit Kobe did grant on Phil & put him on the payroll.

at MJ/Kirby being labeled a "debate".... most one-sided debate in history, tbh....
Other than the homer posts you read on Lakersground and Clublakers, there is no debate.
Jordan transcended the game itself. Larry, Magic and Isiah laid the foundation, but he built the stage that players like Kobe, Duncan, Dirk and LeBron now enjoy. He won 6 championships and many more individual accolades, but he became bigger than that.
He may have his faults like being a chronic gambler and a chronic asswipe, but the way he popularized the game of basketball is unmatched.
anyone who thinks they're even equals should eat a bullet, which could help with California's budget woes.
Phil did make a great point though about MJ's hand size, which allowed him to get off some insane and ridiculous shots. Hopefully Kawhi can live up to that potential, now if Hero can just give him the ball....
MJ, Larry etc made it popular.
But Jordan made it more global... Sorry I meant Nike made it global.
Them and the original Dream Team.
They're discussing 1 on 1 games, people in this thread are discussing accolades.
While standing knee deep in 6. & coffee break is now over,,,back on your heads.
Kawhi also has the hands, and he really needs to start using them for more than rebounds. His handles and finishing should be a lot better.
