$22 million over the cap and you're giving a 6-year deal to a kicker though?

not even sure I understand this contract...this along with the possibility of extra points getting taken away means he will be on the field for what, 5-10% of the game? I wonder how much that equates on an hourly pay rate for his services.

The Raiders are going to go into free agency with over 60 million in cap space, and will likely be close to 70 million after some expected cuts. Our good owner gone bad bit the dust, and we're at least trying to clean up.

more like since al davis kicked the bucket. it took the new gm 2 years but we finally cleared ourselves out of a salary cap/draft pick debacle we were in. at least its progress

I have no problem with signing a good kicker for a solid contract. The Broncos franchised Prater a couple seasons ago and then got paid....it has worked out well. He missed one field goal all season and broke the distance record.

I ING GUARANTEE YOU his numbers drop off DRAMATICALLY this year. I ING WANT YOU DEAD JERRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

This idiot only knows 6 year deals! Marion Barber, Newman, Roy Williams both get the long term deals and suck balls the next year. Watch, the same with Dan Bailey. I ing HATE the fact that I'm a Cowboy fan.

Yeah a team as ed with the salary cap as Dallas is shouldn't even be giving prime Adam Vinateri a $22M contract

Gonna be funny watching jerruh scramble to restructure a bunch contracts this offseason...

AdamSchefter: Cowboys are discussing hiring former Lions OC Scott Linehan as their play caller, per @Edwerderespn and @mortreport.

lions fan, is this another lol jerruh offer? iirc this guy is a pass happy got who doesn't care about the run game, so he should be right up da' boys alley.
