Why does everyone here on Spurstalk think Houston is so damn good? They aren't the 2 or even 3 seed in the West, but everyone here talks about them like they are.
Nope, you are stupid and take things too seriously and then when you have no argument you call re someone because said some harmless name like Kiwi, is not even Cowhi, you dont see me going name police after every user here when they say TURNOBILI, URUNOBILI, or when I say Porker no one is after me, chill down and quit on those crazy pills.

They aren't that good but they're great against us. Very bad match-up sort of like Memphis 2011. Different styles but you get the point.
Honestly, they both did really well. Surprisingly well tbh. But early in that series they were saying Leonard played the best Defense that they had ever see anyone play on Lebron. No lie. I hate thinking about that damn series...
Yeah, Diaw was good in spurts, doubt he could guard LeBron all game without getting winded. And yes, it really sucks.
^This^ I'm going to the game with die hard Rockettes Fans. Their team has struggled so badly, all they talk anout in town is football. But... They are a terrible match up for us. Gonna need to be heavily liqoured up to enjoy the game.
You gotta stay with the shooters... that's all it takes with the Rockets... they can burn you from the perimeter....
rockets are a bad matchup on us even when we were healthy, but who knows.
I like that at ude.
If i'm not mistaken, he's done that on a couple of occasions. I know he played predominantly against him in the "rest gate game". One thing that stuck out is that Lebron never seems to post Diaw up. Taking that out of the equation is a good thing.
I'd love to see the Spurs play "small" with Diaw staying in at PF when teams choose to play small ball against them. Like GSW if they go Curry, Thompson, Iggy, Barnes and Bogut.
He can certainly cover Barnes and on offense either post him up or pull him out to the 3pt line.
Plus Duncan, historically, is very good in one on one defense vs Howard. Little need to double unless Dwight is going off.
Christ, just delete your account son. ful take after ful take.
Lol thats the new TBH, I saw that in some thread minutes ago lots of dudes saying delete blabla, now some fatso behind a computer is calling others son because he is so full of self confidence in some internet forum where nobody cares about nobody, you must be a BB expert your takes could save our team man, no rings since 2007 you can help us jugs.
rockets are a very funny team
Holy ing if this isn't the bigoted pot calling the kettle black. You're a ing moron, with a perspective that comes in levels below simpleton and when given the opportunity to recognize and own your own stupidity you hide your fat racist phobic delusional ass behind the comfort of being able to on people here because you don't have to look them in the eye.
Not only should you delete your account you should delete yourself.
Even with Leonard and Green healthy, I'm worried about Pop's defensive assignments against Rox, Leonard on Harden and Green on Parsons.
Like other guys said in the first game vs Houston, I'd have preferred Green on Harden, and Leonard on Parsons and rotate to help on Harden.
Of course, Marco's D on Parsons was awful, too.
However, Spurs can beat them. Rockets lost against Atlanta, Utah, Dallas, Sacremento, Phoenix, they can have a bad night. Bad games happen.
Some people think that Leonard is a great defender only since he battled LeBron in the finals, and forgot to mention his pretty good job on D against GS and Memphis in playoffs.
The Miami loss wasn't tough, it was easy. They barely broke a sweat. Let me answer your "Can we beat the Rockets" question with another question. Can the Spurs stop the 3-ball? Recent history suggests NO.

Can we beat them? Absolutely
Am I going into the game with high hopes? Not really, I expect a pretty bad blow out. Not only do we now run short on bodies to throw at harden and parsons, but their guys are gonna shoot easily over joseph, nando, and patty. I'm expecting a pretty huge scoring night for the rockets.
Playing the Spurs is like a B12 shot to this particular Rockets team.
First 2 game losing streak of the season tbh
