i probably won't post as much but I also think it will be more relaxed. It sounds stupid but I just wanted to see Tim go out triumphantly, obviously the last Finals was like a high heel stepping on my scrotum, but I think once Duncan rides off into the sunset, some of the drama and desperation will die down, I hope anyways.

That's why last years Finals sucked so much wiener, I was sad for Duncan, not necessarily the team. Still love the Spurs but damn I felt bad for Timmy.

Hi fi if you have paid attention you will have realized that I'm not a apostle of Parker. Never have been... Always said he is not a franchise player and the spurs will go as far as Duncan will bring them. Sucker almost proved me wrong last year even is of course Duncan rebirth had a lot to do with that. Now so many stupid stuff have been said about him that's becoming pathetic and linked to the person not the bb player.

if as spurs fan you are not capable to recognize what the Frenchie did for the franchise and how important he is even with his flaws you are stupid.

Front office made the right choice in selecting Tim in the draft. Manu and Tony were diamonds in the draft but they didn't suspect they'd be that good when they were drafted. Outside of that they've been under s ing bringing anyone else that can help the team outside of anniche role while depending heavily on 4 down, tony and Manu.

That's pretty much how every championship teams work these days. Get three stars and build around them.

Dude will stay as the greatest pf in the game, he earned more money that all st posters will make in a life time period, he has 4 rings, playing for a team playing for him and around him, he is also playing for a great coach.... He got the opportunity to play a last memorable finals at 37 y/o, he is healthy...

I never said you were a bandwagoner, i just figured Parker was the main thing that brought you to Spurs, so while you are saying a ton of people will lose interest in the team, i wondered if Parker leaving would have an effect on you. Nothing wrong with getting into a team because of a player, happens all the time. Manu has brought an entire continent to Spurs. The Admiral was when I started liking Spurs but also because of connection to SA.

We have run with this formula since after 2003. Spurs had more of an effort to get Robinson 2 than Duncan 5. Teams that have constructed a big 3 have had tons of cash to spend or a willingness to. Dallas was the last team to not have a big 3 but have the right kind of roleplayers around there franchise players.

The Heat have won 2 because they have the best player in the game, a competent #2 who shows up in big games and role players that show up when they need to regardless if they get lucky or not. Before that Dallas won because they had length, athletic guys who could play D and a Superstar, same thing during the Lakers runs, length, athleticism and defense. Spurs realized that riding 4 down didn't work and Duncan was losing a step so then we went to Parker dominates the ball and we play a system where he drives and kicks.

Spurs don't concentrate on overall team defense anymore or have athletic bigs that are dependable on both sides of the court.
