    True, it's much better for the league to give its highest draft picks to the teams that are only semi- ty. That way it will motivate the ty teams to be better!

    Oh wait, no it won't, because the odds still favor those who tank.

    So it's the worst of both worlds... teams still tank, and the league doesn't become balanced. WOOO!

    You can only spin so many plates.

    The league needs to be contracted in order to attain any semblance of parity. It should be 24 teams.

    Too many distributors for too little of a product means the league starts distributing low quality products. That's what's happening. Had the Spurs won in June, that would have been a huge blow to the league. There's suddenly no league hero.
