No - but his improvements (which largely comprise of catching passes thrown directly at him) are largely overstated. He's improving, but that is because he had no where to go but up. Spurs are stuck with him and he's going to get PT, so we have to hope he can find his jumper and learn to get better position (and hold said position) on defense.
not, but has worse hands than kwame brown
It's difficult to separate all the individual players that form the lowest tier of NBA basketball, tbh, every team has a few of them..the Spurs have Ayres, Joseph and DeColo, for example..
He's not the worst but he's probably among the bottom 100.
Ayres isn't even the worst player on the Spurs.
If Errors could catch passes with consistency he'd almost be a competent 6th big.
sure seems that way sometimes.
i know it's difficult to imagine, but there are worse.
No.
Next question.
Don't encourage him now....
Is JR Smith sucks?
simple question
At 27 he's pretty bad on the Spurs.
You seemed to have made it difficult somehow.
The proper wording would be "Does JR Smith suck?"
The answer from a purely basketball standpoint is no, and I am not averse to a trade for him -- but just as current Spurs are shat upon because they are current Spurs, players who are not Spurs are often overvalued.
A person could be white and have trouble with English.
It's kind of a ty language to learn -- but not impossible.
Smith's playoff numbers recently are kind of terrible. That would concern me since I'm not sold on him as any kind of defensive asset.
Well, who would you rather have on the court Ayres, Bonner, or Baynes?
Isn't Ajinca on a team? I'd say he's worse
Depends on how long they'll get minutes.. Bonner is good in moderation, Baynes is decent when he has minutes against bigs and not small lineups.. Ayres, well he's just a meat bag.
Simple answer
yes, for the minutes he gets. yes
