The wheels are falling off, who can predict the correct standing and record for the spurs after 1 month of Jeff Ayres

IMO we go 5-8 with a record of 38-20 and standing of 5th in the West

the winner of this will get a special package from Medellin dropped off about 100 miles off the US coast

Third seed imo, maybe even second. The Spurs don't play any quality opponent/healthy team until after the ASG when everyone could be back.

IMO they only lose to one of the Wizards/Nets and win the rest. I'll have to see where they're at injury/trade-wise before I make any predictions post-ASG

Not sure. How many weak sauce teams in this stretch? Thankfully the NBA is full of them especially in the east. Spurs would have a 70 win record easy feeding over there.

Marco will carry us, tbh. 42-16, per par.

The rodeo roadtrip schedule is seriously a joke this year.

With four of our top seven players out I'd be happy with a .500 record in the next time frame.

Our 8 man rotation as is:

    PG Parker
    SG Joseph
    SF Belinelli
    PF Duncan
    C Diaw

    Mills
    Bonner
    Ayres

The best we can hope for is a 4th or 5th seed in the west. That is if we don't have any more serious injuries!!

Splitter is back Saturday so the big man rotation will be full. Hopefully they pull the trigger on a small trade (ex: Nando/2nd rounder for a serviceable SF) or trade him for cash and sign Pietrus or some other vet with system experience.

Spurs will be mid to low seeded by then. I don't know their record, pointless to guess, but they will be around 500 for the month.

3rd or 4th seed. People forget that the only teams who could get above or stay above the Spurs are OKC, Portland, and MAYBE the Clippers. The next set of teams like Houston, Golden State, and Phoenix are too inconsistent to pass the Spurs in the standings. , Golden State just dropped a game AT HOME to the Wizards last night.

What makes you think they'll win against a Suns team who is about to get Eric bledsoe back?

I'm hoping they fall no lower than the 3rd seed. Doesn't seem like it will hold up. Portland has been on a losing streak lately too.

Should remain in 2nd as long as we can hold off the Clippers recent winning streak by winning a lot of games on the Rodeo Road Trip. Getting some of our players off the injury list would be nice.
