This guy is the Chris Kaman of point guards. His yearly numbers never look bad but I still have yet to see him do anything helpful when the team really needs him to. He's the king of racking up points/assists at the most insignificant of times during games.

Well, he is an upgrade over Mike James and Dominique Jones ... but Harris needs to be the starting PG on that team

Yep, Raptors fans said it for years, tbh..

Opposing fans that don't watch him like his game based on raw numbers, but like Greivis Vasquez, he has minimal impact on a game..

Tonight was just one example of many. He sucked all game. But next week when they're up 25 on Milwaukee he'll be sure to nail every three he throws up there and drop 18 and 8 on them.

That was Pargo on CP3 like. Stealing Dirk's limelight. Tbh, even if Dirk was doubled he could make that shot at 5x the clip Calderon could while open

Even on the Spanish National Team he seemed so insignificant. Juan Carlos Navarro would have so much more impact on games.

Lin sucks balls tbh (most games) and I'll be glad if we can dump his contract but I agree with Mono...Jose is full on ball suck. He can't finish at the rim and shoots fluky jumpers. Rin can at least drive to the basket.

except that we only signed Kaman for one year, while we're stuck with this spanish trash for 4 years... 4 ING YEARS, my freaking ass...

I have no doubt about this work rate though. Dude's always working hard out there but he's just pretty much done imho, just like most Spanish guards entering into their 30s.

And even Navarro couldn't get a contract in NBA. We're paying 7 million a year for such ty service of this spanish mother er, when we could've waited until he got amnestied or waived and signed him for no more than 2m a year. Meanwhile, our old Devin is playing SO much better than that spanish but only barely earns 1m this year.

I stopped following Calderon. Is his defense still 'Steve Nash with Ebola' bad?

at least Nash could make the opponents pay at the other end of floor, while the spanish sucks major s on both ends.

this guy is too busy protecting his efficieny by not looking to score more,

his stats and production are misleading when he gives up twice as much on the opposide end...

ppl give nash for his defense, this is equivalent to pure

In Toronto was he notorious for hitting all his three pointers when the Raptors were already winning/losing by 20+ and not making when the game was within a 5 point margin or so?

Calderon hit two crucial 3's to keep us in the game tonight, but you're right, he's not the right option to count on when the game is within a 5pt margin. He could score something to narrow the gap from 10 down to 7, but never expect him to narrow it from 5 to 2, never mind an equalizer. Dude definitely has the potential to replace Eric as the worst FA signing in our team's history tbh.

ya, but he was more well-known for never making risky/difficult passes, and getting all his assists on simple screens and running pick&pops with Bosh..he's probably getting a lot of his assists by just passing it to Dirk, this season..

He played hero ball tonight and ed the Mavs over big time. Dirk is the main man and should be the one taking the game tying or go ahead shot.

I can't ever remember him making a play in crunch time. My lasting memory is of him choking when he had to make a slightly difficult pass to an open Bosh in the playoffs, that got us eliminated.

Overall just a piece of that d easy assists. Only reason he made the FT% record is because he thrives in a No-pressure environment.

Calderon is the prototypical pass first Euro guard. Like Prignoni on the Knicks
