whatever happen to the danny green of 11/12 who played top notch hustle defense without leaving the ground, all of sudden this clown is jumping on every pump fake allowing his man to blow past him
i assume he got paid and just gives up....
True. Have to hope Pop gets out of his "i'm the maestro of European/American basketball and drunk, Marco is starting" mode. Green still flies past the pump fakes like every single time. I'm not counting the team out, we're too deep anyways so I'll just settle for whatever happens. Might as well go out guns blazing. But next season might be a good time to start blowing it up.

I really don't know. He looking like the clown that the Cavs waived.
Not making the most obvious adjustment in the offseason

The Spurs should really push for a bold move in the offseason regardless... you know... Gasol if they can get him, and a backup SF...
tbh, if Tony rests and is in tip top shape, we're not having this convo...
maybe the spurs should try giving enrique more bench time. I remember when the Spurs were playing without Enrique they could still win games and when they' were playing without Leonard/Manu/Splitter but still with Enrique on the back court they couldn't even beat the Chicago cubs at home. Spurs urgently need a scorer off the bench with Manu down, and Enrique would fill that role pretty well imho.
hate to piggyback on TDMVPDPOY's 30K posts, but the Tony Parker Experience has not worked. why Pop keeps pushing this angle I don't know. Gasol and a badass backup SF would be great news, especially if Duncan sticks around one more year and Manu gets those adamantium bones I was referring to a few posts up. Maybe don't even need the surgery for Manu, just use him in a limited capacity.
sperms miss out on james johnson![]()
FO cant do anything worth mentioning these days, cant even draft a backup let alone sign a legit backup....
if they are smart, sign some fkn real z
I think Manu got a two year deal to coerce Timmy into playing another season. It's Tim's call, but he's basically in the books already, so I think he'll stick around one more season. Which means they'll take a last shot, and Tony will be there.
We just got terribly unlucky with the injury bug this season. Manu isn't unexpected, but the other 3 are all young fellas. I think this team will look a lot better when they're whole again. Remember, we don't have to be barn burners, just better than 90% of the West.
spurs will never trade parker and he'll play with spurs until he's 40
when tim hangs them, we're blowing this up... I doubt Tony sticks around
Tony Parker may be the GOAT system player after all
this fkn clown is holding the spurs back, and the system is broken with this clown leading this team
i've figured that about Manu. If it's PATFO keeping him because of the latino angle, that's not really cool with me. But if Duncan wants him around, then ultimately that's fine. I've always liked Manu more than Enrique, just think it's dumb to rely so much on him when the injuries keep adding up. The injuries with Kawhi and the others piss me off moreso, hopefully they'll bounce back and be stronger.
Tim Duncan: "We've got who we've got. So we're going to play with them."
Did you see the AT&T Center today with Mexico playing in the Alamodome and Manu not playing? Tim and Tony were there. So yeah, the latino angle might not be cool with you, but those bean burritos ain't selling themselves. Look, we're going to blow it up when Tim retires, and in the meantime, we're going to milk it for as long as we can. And you're going to need la salsita to max it out. All in all, we can't complain, tbh... this is still a great team when everyone is healthy. Look at the rest of the league. There's like 5 teams worth right now.
The 2012 WCF happened.
once again in this game showed me why this team is filled with selfish wankers
duncan had a good first quarter, then his touches all dried up, just like the previous night, just like game 6+7, once again going away from the hot hand...
People are being too rough on Green, imo. Our regular starting 5 was terrible to start the season so Green's role was affected.
He's still two of the best perimeter defenders we have on the team. I really hope Pop puts Marco back on the bench when Green comes back. I'm tired of seeing opposing guards light us up so easily since Enrique refuses to play defense too.
Marco and Parker together is still not as bad as Enrique and Neal together. Just zero d and heroballing X 2. Least Marco brings a lot more on the other side than Neal.
Agreed. But I was just saying that I hope Pop doesn't go with Marco long term over Green just so the Spurs can get more baskets. Leonard and Green starting together is what i prefer.
Just wait for the barrels to roll out when Thread wakes up
lol the excuses for enrique upstairs is beyond brainwashed and delusional asslickers high on rectum
i dont buy that fatigue when he has the energy to go enrique continuous possessions without passing it out
some of t he clowns upstairs better explain how he got the energy to start padding his stats in scrub minutes against the bulls tonight late in the 4th quarter....
