It's hilarious how people are saying we should tank or already claiming this a failed season when 4 of the 7 important players are hurt.
Errors
De Colo
Oxygus Jaffers
Joseph
Agree to disagree regarding those two guys. That's OK.
Moving players 11-14 into the top ten players (some of them starting) it is not OK.
The Spurs finished the RS 10-10 last year and got everyone back when the playoffs started.
The short term does not look good. At least the current record is so good the playoffs are (probably) not in question.
Bottom line is some healthy bodies are very much in need. At this point, Splitter will be a very welcome addition on Saturday (hopefully).
If Parker does not get better (healthier), the offseason will start much sooner this year.
I won't take this team seriously until we get rid of our injury problems. Tiago, Kawhi, Leonard, and Manu out all at the same time is a disaster. You can't expect to win against good teams, , even decent teams like the Bulls unless you've got the depth which is what the Spurs are lacking right now.
We need HCA to win it all regardless of us having 7 home losses already. It's still possible but we have to make a move, get healthy and start dropping the slew of glorified nbdl players we have off the bench.
You are correct. I won't watch until we get some back, period. This is a disaster right now.Barring a huge run or miracle the Spurs are not winning it all this year. I accepted that a while back.
Home court doesn't mean anything if the Spurs aren't completely healthy by the time the playoffs start tbh.
I still don't understand any of this, homers I am starting to understand, it's what trolls call spurs fans, What's a bold?
Yeah I fixed my post. Health is key but we won't take a game 7 at Miami again if we are healthy...unless a trade that surprises the outta everybody.
you're a gray, I'm a bold... get it?
did someone say bold?
btw ginobili is made of glass
Fraginobili!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the guy but honestly he is hurt alot and Splitter is worse! I wish they could play 78 or so games a year but they seem to get hurt alot.
Frenchies disappoint once again. Parker/Diaw/DeColo all failed to step up with all the missing players. Quite sad that TP is more motivated playing for a worthless FIBA le than an NBA championship these days. Seems like Lebron ripped his heart out during the Finals. TP's been going through the motions ever since.
NBA championships aren't played in January.
TP's been disappointing all year - not just January.
NBA championships aren't played in November, December or January...
They won't be played in June either when our "best player" gasses out in the 2nd round because he decided to play international ball over the summer instead of resting.
We'll see what Parker will do in playoffs.
