taken out of context and not a big deal. Watch the interview, he meant to say they had to move the ball around more because Harden makes it easier for everybody. Parsons and Harden are tight.

It's what I have been saying all along, team plays better without Harden. It's all iso-ball no defense Harden when he is in the game.

He's white. All our other players are black. I think Parsons is the leader, but he is a minority in our starting 5. Gotta add some more vanilla, tbh.

It's funny that you bring up how McGrady would kill it with this team, when the rest of the team stood around not moving watching T-Mac hold the ball just like they do with Harden. Harden holds the ball the least amount of time per possession. When he is in, he plays PG and that is by design. Either Beverley or Lin is in the SG role, and that is coaching. When Harden is out, the team has to move the ball to get easy shots because without Harden there to create, it isn't as easy. Watch the games and stop being an idiot. The entire team goes one-on-one alot, not just Harden. Also, the entire team goes one-on-one because Beverley can't penetrate and create like Lin can.

T-Mac would run circles around Harden. Even Kobe said that T-Mac in his prime was his toughest defensive assignment. T-Mac didn't just penetrate, he could hit the three, and would dish out assists like candy. T-Mac was a triple double threat everytime he stepped on the court. Harden, not so much. Iso-ball and Eurostep and he doesn't know how to pass unless there are three seconds left on the clock and he's in trouble. Then he'll pass it to a team mate for a last second low percentage shot. Bill Worrell: "Without Harden, the Rockets are an efficient machine."

To denigrate Harden like this is a defensive mechanism in the PROBABLE event that the Rockets don't ring this June. It's stupid & childish. And when you guys do this type of I could just drive to Mesa and shoot a dog.

Rockets moved the ball better without T-Mac too. Why is that?

Harden can be a great player if he plays within the system. Oh and learn to play on both sides of the ball. It's not that he can't play defense. He just wont.

What system? Do you know why guys stand around on offense when Harden has the ball or why the ball doesn't move?

Dwight Howard Calls Rockets’ Effort in Loss ‘Piss Poor’

Following a 97-88 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard blasted his team’s effort (or lack thereof) in comments to the media. Per CSN Houston and NBA.com: “Despite having their worst-shooting performance of the season and committing 23 turnovers, Howard was more displeased about the effort he saw from his team. ‘It was piss-poor effort out there on defense and offense,’ Dwight Howard said. ‘The ball stuck tonight and we didn’t move it and we can’t win that way. They just played harder than us. It’s got to be important for guys to come out and play the same way every night. Guys have to come out and play, no matter how many guys are out. (Guys need) to play as hard as you can and trust the next guy to come in and play the same way. They outworked us.’ In the ultra-compe ive western conference, where every team but Minnesota (9-10), Sacramento (4-12) and Utah (4-16) is at or above .500, Howard is well-aware that losses like the last two must be avoided. ‘We can’t give away games like this, it’ll come back and bite us later on in the season,’ Howard said. ‘We have to learn that no matter how guys we have out there, shorthanded and all, we have to play the same way. Play hard and play aggressive. We know what we need to do, if we don’t do it, we’re going to continue to lose.’ [...] It is only the second time this season that the Rockets have lost back-to-back games and, at 13-7, they are still the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference. So it was less a blaring alarm bell than a humming undercurrent reminder that a wannabe playoff contender needs more than summertime signings and headlines to turn into the real thing.”

No dumbass. Parsons is calling the team out for not being aggressive enough to move the ball with Harden in, they all just stand around and watch Harden instead of cutting. Also, Because Beverley is not a starter. The team runs better when Lin is aggressive, running the PnR, and not playing like a pussy. Harden has the ball and everyone stands around, not making any cuts. He is also most efficient at getting Howard the ball in the post, the entire team sucks at making entry passes but Beverley is hands down the worst at it (Your starting Point Guard should not suck at passing ) and it's the same thing there. Dwight gets the ball, no one is making any cuts. Only when Harden is out, the team is forced to be aggressive and move the ball, that's a coaching problem. Harden's problem on offense is not moving after he passes the ball, like making cuts. Which is why guys need to be active and not defer to him all the time.

If freethrows make make up your PPG, are you still considered a chucker?

Good point, but in the 2% of game time where he's not collecting foodstamps, he's heroballing and chucking....

Harden is one of the best pure shooters... but it's sad to see how much of his game relies on freebies.
