Probably because they lost to 4 Horrible teams, and almost got beat by the 3rd string Chiefs. Rivers, Pagano, and Allen deserve more credit for their renaissance. Arians was in the NFC West and had that trainwreck Carson Palmer at QB. Belichick had Tom Brady and absolutely nothing else.

Pagano's defense sucked at the start of the year, letting teams waltz down the field in clutch time and costing us wins, tbh.... plus McCoy was handicapped by a mediocre roster and calling the plays

Burfict's not even the best player on his own D. You also didn't watch the Bills D at all this year if you think he just "had a lot of tackles." Not only did he take over as signal caller in his rookie year, but he was great in run AND coverage. Helps if you watch the games
