At least the Shanghai Sharks are getting minutes out of him, unlike the team with the highest paid player in the league.
Arenas, 31, is making $22,346,536 this season after being amnestied by the Orlando Magic in December 2011. This season, he is third-highest paid player in the league.Let's break down how much money Gilbert is making from the amnesty on a per minute basis. If Orlando doesn't make the playoffs this year. That's 82 games in a regular season. From his $22,346,536 salary for the season, that's $272,518 in earnings per game. On a more granular level, there's 48 minutes Per Game, so he's making $5,677 per minute of playing time. This estimate in earnings per minute of playing time doesn't include halftime, time-outs, time on the bench, overtime or practice time minutes which would drastically reduce his earnings per minute of playing time.this is why the NBA sucks

Guess which illegal got the most expensive gym in San Antonio history - for FREE?![]()
He's still not incarcerated? I'm largely surprised...
You sick bas .
The negro is only 31, and already out of the league?![]()
Guess who is the 1st highest paid player this season?
Like Thread would say, Kirby on his current contract won 2 rings and went to 3 Finals.
gotDAYUM
did you get any of that money or is the family on bad terms?
Props to Arenas for somehow always sqeazing contracts like this out. With Washington they gave him a 6 year 120 mil contract during a season he had a bad injury and never played a minute. I don't think he played since then (this contract might be part of that deal washington gave him...)
This dude is importing crazy ass tigers and sharks into his house and I'm sitting there like wtf? How are you going to spend 300K on a tiger from china? Getting paid this way he might as well I guess.
You got a free gym?![]()
Npe - but my 2nd cousin did after he wrecked Tammy's marriage (not to mention her V-J).

Npe - my 2nd cousin kept all of it. He wouldn't even share Amy Duncan with me and I introduced them at an HEB fundraiser.

That's 6 talk.
Arenas was my favorite non-mav player back then. It was really unfortunate of him to get his career wrecked by injury when it hadn't peaked yet, but the good news was he had already signed a lucrative contract before his knee collapsed (which was bad news for the Wizards owner, of course)
I thought it was after he signed that 6yr 120m contract that his knee failed him. He felt motivated after the contract signed, so he began to train hard and exerted himself in the gym throughout that summer, and somehow pushed a knee off its limit unfortunately. Dude always has great work ethic imho, he just tried his best to convince people that he more than deserved the pay but his efforts only ended up working the opposite way. It wasn't his fault of course, just misfortune imho.
