Damn, that sucks. He was a good actor. RIP
pt anderson's muse tbh, it really sucks that he's gone

You forgot Along Came Polly. That movie was total except for him.
you're a schmuck
at least I didn't kill myself via overdose like some gots.
Scotty J never got his wish
can't muster up not even an ounce of fake sympathy for a junkie. em![]()
I actually agree with Trill. I know things can be tough, but people who are too mentally weak to overcome drugs get little sympathy from me. I feel bad people die in general, but I don't get addiction. Especially since it's a choice.
dying young is always a good career move in the movie biz
Really liked the guy....
at least you can admit you're a schmuck
lol so if i do a forum search on Pimp C i'm going to see this same at ude in your posts?
I liked Punch-Drunk Love.
I'm a ing idiot! I'm a ing idiot! I'm a ing idiot! I'm a ing idiot! I'm a ing idiot! I'm a ing idiot!
Good actor, but sorry I don't think I can shed any sympathy. At least his last moments were in a heroin orgasmic bliss right before respiratory depression caused him to stop breathing.
Wow I'm shocked.
RIP. Gone too soon.
Dropping rain....lol
He'd been clean for over 20 years. Fell off the wagon last year and went back to rehab to get sober again. I've no intention of absolving him of any personal responsibility, but it's not as if the guy wasn't trying to overcome his addiction.
As a fan of cinema, though, this is a huge loss. He was one of the more impressive talents of the last couple decades.
I like how people shrug addictions off as being weak or whatever. First there is always a reason why people go to drugs and second, once you're addicted to something its hard not to get back to it.
Alot of judgemental and try hards people in here.
Please. Your are rich, talented & all best treatments at your disposal. No excuses. Drugs, even with a pre-disposition to be addicted, are a choice.
^Deeps.

Hoffman was choice in "Boogie Nights" & added some outside edge to "Scent of a Woman."
another brilliant New Yorker whom God loved too much to wait any longer before calling him up to the Heaven, RIP
And he died in Greenwich village - the hood our goddess grew up in... Hoffman is double blessed by both God and Goddess, imho.
